Bay 12 Blood Bowl League

From 2012 to 2015, Bay 12 has had a quite active Blood Bowl league, with the tournament run off Cyanide's Blood Bowl 1 reaching a whopping 14 seasons before dying out.
With the upcoming Legendary release of the selfsame company's Blood Bowl 2, I figure it's about time we reignite the torches, strike the earth, and play some Blood Bowl.

To begin with, we'll only have a single main league, with more ladders added in later leagues in order to differentiate player skill/team TV.
There's currently no race restrictions, however in any situation where a team must take a bye, they'll be drawn from the least prevalent races in the competition.

Matches are up to the players to arrange, and there will be a one week deadline between games.
It's preferred that players discuss their match times here, as commissioners will need to rule whether both players have made an effort to set up a game in the event that the deadline is crossed without a game being played.

That's fair. Blood Bowl 2 is still missing a number of teams. Having a hell of a time as Orcs though!

Two things, one its the salty sea dogs, not the salty dogs (sorry for that mistake) and secondly, I cant ask to get registered as there is no tournament at the moment...

Indeed. Cannot make a tournament until I've got an appreciation for numbers, so it's currently just list-filling and waiting.
Considering the overwhelming interest I've gotten in the last month here though (/s) I doubt it'll be running at all.

I'd put out there that I'm somewhat interested in joining this. Eventually. It's just that paying 45 bucks for what amounts of a graphical upgrade/dlc platform for a game I already own rubs me the wrong way, so I am waiting for a major sale. If you can't find a big enough to group to run it now, maybe waiting for the winter sale and seeing if it goes on sale or maybe next years summer sale and then fishing around for interest again would be a good idea, because I'd imagine I'm not the only one who likes blood bowl but doesn't like rebuying their game.

I personally don't feel that you NEED halflings in order to have a good time but that's just me.

'course with LE out now, I can probably justify getting the game. If it looks like the tournament's going to get started, I'll probably swing by and toss in a vampire team.
