Hello and welcome to another translation thread.
Here is the story from Russian DF imageboard DFach

The story is already finished and some magnificent comics are being drawn right now. But we all know that it's easier to wait until ToadyOne finish The Game then till our Urists MacEngravers finish their work.

There is actually an old topic here about this story but it died(even before being actually born). So I made a new one.

I know they are watching me. And they know that I know. And we are playing this game, smiling each other and pretending that nothing is happening. What are their plans on me? If they wanted me dead they could have killed me long time ago. Here, in the city, I'm in their hands. That means they are after something even worse than death. That's why I'm very cautious trying not to disturb them without reason. But all my actions are dedicated to a single goal - to escape. But if I try to turn and run away they'll set their hounds on me immediately. I'll just untie their hands. They'll catch me, accuse me in any crime they want may be even plant something. He was scheming a murder, have stolen an artifact or military information. Why did he ran? He ran means he's guilty. So I'm making them to want me to leave, I'm pushing them to specific thoughts and let them think they are controlling me. I tell that bozo that I want to build a fortune, they always believe in that. Like I was always dreaming about my own busyness. To run my own shop selling various stuff. But to get a start-up capital I'm thinking in sorrow to leave my home nest and get out to earn. He answers some days later, apparenlty talked to his bosses. But everything went just as planned. He gives me an option and I agree after some fake doubts. Now I'm a colonist. I volunteer to go alone, saying I'm greedy, don't want to share, not much time left, want to come back to my beloved city ASAP. But he insists - rules are rules. I'm sure he invented them just right now. We come to a compromise - I've chosen the most dangerous and uneasy place, took the youngest amd less skillful companions, actually I've got the right to choose them myself from newcomer peasants or amnestied prisoners. But in return I'm gonna be an expedition leader and decide how to equip the group. He promises to look for the option. I waited for a pretty long time. I'm sure they were preparing their agents. How much they will be among my six companions? After a week he says there is an excellent option: terrifiyng biome, constant cold, aquifer and all other fun. I have to choose from twelve volunteers and I did my best to choose the most stupid, those who couldn't pretend being someone else. Than I gathere all necessary for the journey, as he told me, in plendge of my property in the city. Looks like he believes I'm going to come back. Tricked him so good. And now I'm an expedition leeader, free as wind, the only thing left is to get rid of those six idiots. Although if there is some stupid chick among them who can cook and satisfy my other needs I could leave her with me. I'll think about it later.

You should have seen their faces when I refused from about a half of prepared food and drinks so I have enough creadit to take an iron axe and a pick. You thought we are going to a picnic? No, my friends, you won't need neighter food nor drinks. I've almost got caught refusing from copper axe and pick - one set of tools is not enough of course. I said I'd thought everything through, I had to improvise - I showed them a copper bar. We'll make all needed tools on arrival, it's much more frugally. Only I had a map with the endpoint marked and of course I followed it very carefuly. Followed it just to "accidentally" turn the wrong way and go even deeped into the inhospitable lands so that nobody can find me for sure. I've told that bozo that I don't need any migrants or caravans but he started about his rules all over again: the colony is the colony. Anyway I've asked to wait a litle with the advertising - we'd have tough first time etc. I warned my companions I won't babysitting them. Do what I say or GTFO. Where could they go after all? I've planned to give them a place where they can spend their time happily enjoying company of each other while I'm digging their graves. But a finding in a snowdrift changed my plans. An ogre crap - the best thing I could find. The pile isn't frosen yet and tracks leading to the forest. That means we stay here.

All my companions share at those who knows nothing and can do nothing and those who pretends. I don't care who is who. Either they obey my will or have to reveal themselves. But it happened that we have only one axe and one pick and I own them both. I said that since I'm the only miner I'm going to dig a store and living rooms and they should provide some meat. After all they were complaining that I took too little food. What a pleasant surprise! The ball comes to the player. Look at those tracks! Looks like a giant ape or something. But you six can handle it. One of them, his name was Likot, couldn't hold him self and "assumed" shyly that it's an ogre tracks. Oh come on! Lack of self-control? Your schooling is really bad. I hope my laugh was natural enough. "A city boy had listened too much grandma's stories? You should know that orge's tracks are twice bigger. Even if it's an ogre it must be a baby and you six can handle it. Or you are going to tell me spooky stories you've been told in childhood while I'm working for you?" I'm not sure what convinced them more: my words or the pick in my hand. But they went. Later I've remembered I had an intention to look at women closer. Two of them,  Urist and Tirist, looked pretty. Stupid and obedient enough. I guess I got attached to them in some sort during the joyrney. But marriage is not a joke. One should look after the woman carefully - they are masters of warming themselves int to one's confidence. I'll build a home and we'll spend a month in one room or may be six months or a year - as long as it will need. I'll watch how she eats, how she sleeps, how she behaves when she thinks, I'm going to ask her sudden questions. Sooner or later if she is hiding something she will show it. But now I don't have time for this, let things go as they go.

It looks like there are two ogres. But I didn't reveal all the surprises to my companions. I dig and hope they all die. A weak part of my soul secretly wishes Urist or Tirist to enter the cave this moment alive and unhurt and tell me that she is the one to survive. But it'll make everything more complicated. After all who from six fools could survive if not only an agent of secret services? Anyway it is silly to count on surviver is a woman especially without any injuries. I don't have time take care of wounded. I dug big hall for storage and two small rooms for workshops. Below I was planning to dig some more small rooms for bedroom, kennel and something else. But I have to leave it behind because water started to trickle from the wall. Damn! We were tought that aquifiers are always continuous except inclusions of solid rocks. So why it is not covering the whole area on the second level and the water sprinked only when I've dug to the wall looking the same as others? Can anyone deny now the existance of a plot? They are fooling us right from the school, washing brains, leaving us no posibility of independent existance. But for now it costs me just one living floor. I have to place it one level upper.
I finish a carpenter's workshop and go outside to look what is going on. I see five corpses of my companions and one ogre corpse. Good job. One of the women is still alive but I couldn't save her even if wanted to. An accident on a workside, it happens. I'm going to miss you all. Jokes aside, I really feel sadness. I was obsessed by escaping the claws of moster called "society" for so long I didn't notice it rooted into my soul. I need to occupy myself with some work. I need to make doors for my hole, build kennel and train dogs. We are alone now an we have to deal monsters by ourselves.

I guess that what's written on the first chapter comic in Russian is indeed what you wrote in English. If so than I could edit English in photoshop onto the comic board, you would just have to divide the text up into the corresponding scenes.

I decided that two wardogs should folow me all the time and another one would be chained near the door. But now I need to cop some woodm make a bed, shield and lots of other stuff. I'm allways wide-awake and noone can take me by surprise neither dwarf nor a predator. My hole is in a wide ravine - I'll remove slopes and they can jump if they aren't afraid of breaking their legs. I must hurry.

One ogre managed to escape and pointed it's friends at me. We're tought they are stupid. Its a lie too of course. May be they aren't super smart but they have enough brains for vengence and rancor. I take my dogs and go to the wagon to drink some wine and that very moment they head to my hole. I can only watch them clattering my door. Inside the hole are a fat lazy dog and a camel that brought the wagon here. I'll come here later when ogres go away and butcher all animals if I can. Its good I took the pick with me. I guess I'm starting to be too nervous, I've come farther than I should, this place is more dangerous than I thought. Just clam down. I wont hurry. Let them break the door, slaughter the animals, I'll just watch drinking beer and eating meat.

Even here I can hear the sound of breaking furniture and sreams of dying animals. What can I do? Alone, without any armor? Tired and sleepy. I remember how much efforts I've spent to make my bed. How I imagined myself lying on it after a long hard day. It turns out those guys decided to show they are bosses here and I'm not wellcome. But what the point in all this running? How long I will be able to run from them? Now I'm alone on snow, I don't even have an axe to make a new bed and a door, which will be destroyed again as easily as previous one. They'll come into my home, drag me sleeping by leg from the bed and rip me apart. But I don't even have a bed! When they'll come for me I'll be sleeping in a wet dirt hole or, even worse, in a snowdrift like a pauper. I find myself walking fast to my home, I don't remember I've made such decision. I'm going to my bed. I just want to sleep and I don't care what will happen next. The dogs are following me obediently.

The mutilated camel corpse is lying at the frontyard. The doorway is covered with blood. I step over slivers left from the door and walk toward the monster's cackling sounds. I glance on the dog's corpse and walk fast into the bedroom. The ogres are rejoicing. Yelling triumphally they shake and kick my bed aiming to brake the last unbroken thing in my home. The dogs have barked and one of the beasts turns in our direction - the other two are too rapt with their busyness. The pick edge enters near its collarbone and the dogs tear its legs and stomach. It runs toward the exit from the burrow but falls down entangled with his own guts in just one step from his destination. I end his sufferings with one precise hit. I don't mind these creatures suffering but there are two more waiting for me. The dogs are already fighting one of them so I push thought them and attack the other one in the bedroom.
- I want to sleep! I want ot sleep! Do you understand? Its my bed! Do you understand, animal? This is my bed!
I think my screams worked as good as my hits. I stick the pick in its foot nailing it to the floor and punch with my bare hands, it waves off and shields with its pawns as a giant frightened milksop. I pull the pick sharply and the blood splashes at my bearleather boots and a gory monster's toe flew away. The ogre tryes to run away but falls on the knee after to stepped on its crushed foot. I take my pick firmer and hit the piercer into its skull. The dogs are having fun tormenting the last living ogre. It've clenched in the narrow corridor and not even trying to to fight back. I fall asleep on the bloodcovered bed hearing it moaning and the dogs roaring.

When I woke up I couldn't understand the nature of noises. It feels I've been sleeping for the eternity and still dogs couldn't manage one ogre. Being half-awake I leave the pick in the bed and go to the corridor. What a tenacious beast! The ogre is too tough to die but too injured to fight back or run away. The dogs aren't in any danger but cannot cause any severe damage. Let me show how it's done. I make a long run and jump on ogre's rib cage. I'm not sure it even noticed me after the night full of suffering. It's okay, I'm only starting...

...I'm tired, my knuckles are bleeding, fingers hurt form choking and pushing pain spots. Now I know a lot about anatomy and learned how to cause pain but that big guy just lies and moans. I could gnaw it with my teeth if didn't see that even trained dogs can't do this. I give up. I need my axe.
