Like a lot of the other people, I've just read this thread and I decided to start a simple succession game. No special rules, just a normal fort. Anyone interested?

The second fort starts from here: http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=163575.msg7437213#msg7437213

The third fort starts here: http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=163575.msg7512134#msg7512134

Anyone interested can grab the save.

the point is to bring back the crazy, and so it should probably be an embark i don't prefer.

ya know what this coming fortress needs?  a stone stockpile.  not a quantum stockpile or a dump tile, but many 31x31 rooms filled with stone.  made in a stone layer so that they start half full.  this will be my contribution to the fort.

Is there a waitlist for this? (you know, replacement overseer for if anyone wants to stop playing.)
If so, put me on it.

Wanna use a site I have. I can just do the first year, then you guys can take the rest.
What site is it?

You know the standing lava tube I keep mentioning over and over again. That one, I am pretty sure it has flux and magma, with an unusual formation that is perfectly suited for shareing. I can just send over the save, as I currently lack the time for a turn.
