I'll play.
I haven't played many community forts so this should be good practice for me.
Grab the save then

Wait, It's an RAR file, I can't use those on windows 10
Unless you can upload it as a file, I may have to leave

Ok, lets finally do this
Spring:
5th of Granite: started building a workhops for smelting, seeing as we have plenty of galena to mine. Hopefully we can make some decent things with the metal down below.
11th of Granite: A bunch of troglodytes have spawned, hope they don't cause too much trouble.
26th of Granite: built a lower floor, just for rooms we will need, such as a barracks for out future military.
7th of Slate: No hatched eggs yet, or migrants
16th of Slate: The future Military has become our current military. I've drafted 2 Speardwarfs, 1 macedwarf and an axedwarf to be our guard and to train in their spare time. I've also created some iron weapons with the smeltery I made.
23rd of Slate: Migrants, here's who we got;
1 x Wax worker
1 x Weaver
1 x gem cutter
1 x cheesemaker
1 x Papermaker
1 x Tanner
2 x Traders
1 x Armorer
1 x shearer
1 x Child
1 x Hunter
1 x Glazer
1 x Carpenter
1 x dyer
1 x stone crafter
2 x Mason
1 x Mechanic
so yeah, Our fortress just doubled to a total number of 33. I'm not sure if this is good or not. Probably not because i'm not too optimistic about our food supplies.
8th of Felsite: Building a hospital because we may will need one. Expanded our dormitory too to keep the new migrants.
22nd of Felsite: A warebear arrived. I'm not expecting the best...
24th of Felsite: 1 mason was killed and 4 of our dwarfs were bitten, I've managed to lock them in our hospital for now but this is a pretty terrible outcome.

I'll continue the fortress tomorrow

I say that, it could be worse. That huge migrant wave we got means we have all the replacements we need and all the warebears are trapped in one room. The only things we really lost were some iron weapons (replaceable), 1 dead dwarf (very replaceable) and a room full of beds (also very replaceable)

7th of Hematite: Built another hospital, Thankfully, the first one had almost nothing besides beds in it
10th of Hematite: A human caravan has arrived, yay
11th of Hematite: Farmer John is having a strange mood, this probably won't end well
13th of Hematite: John started the construction. It'll probably be a terrible artefact anyway
17th of Hematite: Got a ton of food and cloth and some weapons from the traders. No use buying armour from humans
18th of Hematite: Farmer John finished his Artifact, a wooden sceptre worth 6000. Pretty terrible for an artifact but at least he didn't go insane and try to kill everyone.
20th of Hematite: We have 2 Warebears, if anybody wants to do anything with them, go ahead, but they're staying locked behind a wall for now.
25th of Hematite: As if today wasn't bad enough. A Giant Cave Spider has Spawned
5th of Malachite: GCS has been killed and some migrants arrived:
1 x Beekeeper
2 x Traders
3 x Children
1 x Miller
2 x Gem Setters
1 x Fisherdwarf
1 x baby (born during wave)
Pretty big wave of useless plebs. I'll try drafting them
27th of Malachite: built a memorial room, to mourn our dead.
6th of Gelena: I tested our militia on a group of troglodytes. overall, we did pretty well, only one injury on our part. We may need some iron armour to help with that though
15th of Gelena: Finally made some soap, Now we don't need to worry about infection for now.

Pretty boring season mostly, besides the mad cavern killings. I'll finish off the year tomorrow.

They're still locked in the old hospital. If you want to do anything with them, all you need to do is mine out a square. There's 2 of them so if you accidently kill one, its not the end of the world. I am grateful that the other 2 bite victims left the hospital before I blocked it up and didn't turn though.

Another Season:
15th of Limestone: dwarven traders arrived time to buy stuff
18th of Limestone: turns out electrum crafts are really good. Got a ton of food, weapons, armour and cloth.
19th of Limestone: Migrants:
1 x Fish dissector
1 x Peasant
1 x Metalcrafter
1 x Woodworker
1 x Weaver
1 x Soapmaker
1 x Miller
1 x Potash Maker
1 x Trapper
1 x baby (wtf is babies being born during migrant waves)
total dwarfs up to 49. I think we can make another squad now.
9th of Sandstone: I'm digging out some deeper levels. I've also built some cage traps in the opening to the caverns. Just so a GCS doesn't just wander in and kill everyone
13th of Sandstone: Captured a drathla, we have no room for it to graze so i'm putting it in a slaughter room
26th of Sandstone: Turns out cage traps don't work against giant bats. Time to build a drawbridge
4th of Timber: we desperately need to find an underwater water source. During most of the year we have nothing to use for our patients.
9th of timber: Atrifact time
15th of Timber:
20th of Timber: There may or may not be 2 dozen dead troglodytes in the caverns. On a somewhat related note our militia is pretty awesome.

Ok, autumn done. Only winter left. I'l finish that tomorrow
