"These inter-dimensional frogs need to learn their place, as the lowlife they are!"

Now that the pact is formed, try channeling my hands and allow my palms to focus fire lighting bolts at the frogs

[Quick question: did the frog drop actual yen coins? I would assume so but I want to make sure
Also can I assume my energy reloads by the time I enter combat next?]
Yeah, we'll go with them dropping actual coins.
I'm not going to be doing the whole "threads" and "swag" thing that TWEWY did, instead everything is just done through Psychs, and you directly upgrade those. So your whole "inventory" is actually intangible, sans coins, which won't weigh you down.

And yeah, Energy will refill after combat. (I mean, otherwise you'd just empty them at nothing and have them reload normally)

Also, when Yen is dropped, it's a total amount, not a per-character amount. You'll have to distribute it yourselves. (It encourages teamwork! ...Or malice, both amuse me)

"You realize I can tell where the building is without you pointing it out, right? It's a big building. And I have a map." Ted remarks after seeing Lilly's display of pointing.

"Whatever works. Wonder what we could buy with it." Ted shrugs at Lily and grabs the Yen for safekeeping before continuing to head towards 1.

Take the Yen, then head towards Zone 1.

"Well, we MIGHT end up stealing their kills...but why not? What goes around comes around. They can keep half the yen from the battle. Let me just finish this up first.." She bent down and picked up the yen the frogs left behind. This was definitely a dream of hers if enemies went by the usual drop-money-for-no-reason-on-death trope. Then, she moved quickly and tried another vacuuming vortex, this time with less serious gestures; closing her left eye, and looking at where the other frogs were, she pinched with her right hand so that, distance ignored, it looked like she was holding the frogs/vacuum in place.

Wouldn't have time to update right this second, anyway, so it's fine.)

Joe Joseph and Donny DiBorgo
Joe and Donny run out into the main intersection of downtown.
They're only about 5 minutes from Northern Heights, now, but their gaze is diverted by... well.
Four kids are fighting a frog that's suspended in a vortex while it's being shot by fire and lightning.
Holy shit.

Ted Thompson and Lily LaBlanc
Ted and Lily pick up the pace as they make their way to Northern Heights.
They're running through the main boulevard now. There are shops covering either side of the street, and seeing all these people, all the bustle, without interacting with it at all.
It's eerie, to say the least.

Ross Roosevelt and Dylan Daehler
[?]Ross rears his foot back, and with a reckless abandoning of strategy, slams it straight into a frog, flinging it back.

15 damage to Frog 1

Spoiler: Ross' first power (click to show/hide)

[?]Dylan watches as Ross punts one of the frogs, and he focuses his thoughts through his hands as a bolt of lightning erupts forth, obliterating the wounded frog, and arcing to the second!

Frog 1 Erased! 10 damage to Frog 2

Spoiler: Dylan's first power (click to show/hide)

A light puck passes from Dylan to Ross at x1.2 power

Before the frog can attack...

Roésse Radde and Sara Sarowski
[7. Hit]Roésse pinches her fingers together, and black lines swirl around the frog as it becomes trapped by a swirling vortex, [7,9,9,3. 2 hits] which then erupts in a column of flames from Sara.

10 damage to Frog 2. Frog 2 trapped by Sweeper

A light puck passes from Sara to Roésse at x1.2 power

[8+3=11. Miss] The frog can't escape!

Noise:
Frog 1: Erased
Frog 2: 20 damage

"Almost there! One last hit should do it!" Swoop in for the kill with double Shockwave! Then let the others have the money, and rush for area 1! Double check that the wall is still there, though.
