e coming.

I started working as a level designer for this RTS game called Loria (http://loriagame.com/). It's intended to be like a "modern" classic-RTS. Kind of like Warcraft 2 & 3, but with some modern features and using Unity3D. It was greenlit on steam awhile back, and the game demo is pretty playable (http://loriagame.com/downloads). There isn't much in the way of a tutorial right now, but it shouldn't stray too far from regular RTS controls. There was a more complex demo level with some puzzles and stuff but people didn't seem to like it too much. It's kind of left me a bit confused as to a good route to go with the levels. Which is why I figured I'd stop by here on the bay12forums and see what you guys thought. I was tempted to make it a bit more Dark Souls-y. High risk, high reward, less forgiving, but intuitive and with enviromental pointers as to good routes to take or ways to accomplish things. But, I'm not sure the filthly elves (read: casuls) will appreciate such a difficult level design, or one that is subtle. What do you guys think?

I want to do some easter eggs too, and specifically a DF one because I can. Maybe a fuzzy wambler near the corpse of a bronze colossus off in the trees on one of the maps.

If anyone wants to swing by and give me ideas that I can steal incorporate we've got a discord server here: https://discord.gg/7e3DTpC

We're also looking for a pixel artist for the dev team. But I mean, who isn't? I was all for ASCII graphics but noooo... "people don't like ascii" they said... "ascii rts will look stupid" they said...
