TowerTurn SevenBattle Theme ~Teleglitch Track 2~Objective: Rout all enemies.
The glass spiders in the tower skitter around, attempting to find a way to reach Kumo on the walls, clambering around to attack her by climbing up the sides. A few turn on the newcomer, who draws a blade hewn of what appears to be rough rubies.
Then the gate shines with golden light.
"FOR THE GLORY OF ARVINIA! AN ORDER IS GIVEN TO ARVINIA'S ENEMIES: SUBMIT OR BE DESTROYED!"Before the spiders can react, before either Kumo or the newcomer can react, Mircea XI, the Might of Arvinia, Blessed Protector of the Realm, charges in with a mighty roar, a powerful aura exuding from his body as he rushes in, his sheer presence empowering the other two. One was already familiar with the man called Mircea, the great, uproarious drinker, proud of the country he calls his own, mightier and bigger than any mortal man has any right to be.
In that moment, Mircea is no man, but a god of war, descended upon the earth to lead his forces to victory, as he was in the days of before, leading the charge against an unending tide of enemies.
Only these enemies are not unending, and there are but few of them.
One of the spiders is immediately trampled by Mircea's horse, crushed to bits before it can even retaliate against his charge. Mircea's lance smashes the legs off another one, crippling it and leaving it a sitting duck, and none of the spiders, despite their speed, is able to even nick him. The glass spiders are merely constructs, and the same for the Stalker, who feels nothing as it sees the golden light of the oncoming might of the Emperor.
It makes a quick calculation. Mircea's sheer weight and momentum would make it untenable to attempt to stop him; even impaling his steed would not stop him quickly enough before getting trampled, and the armor borne by both man and steed would be too tough to pierce with a brittle material like glass. The decision is untenable. Faced with the decision between certain death and escape, the Stalker makes a judgement.
The Stalker is forced to evade Mircea's charge.....
Theme Override:
~Carolus Rex~The Stalker was fast.
Radu was faster.
And Mircea's arm even faster than his horse.
Before the Stalker can even make a move to dodge, Mircea's lance finds its body, thrust forwards with one hand by the one man capable of carrying the weapon one-handed. The spear carries on through its body, skewering it across his lance as Mircea slows down towards the wall. With a mighty grunt, the Emperor slams his spear into the wall, high above the ground, leaving the Stalker skewered upon it, limbs wriggling and vainly attempting to wrench itself off of Mircea's weapon to rejoin the battle, cracks skittering through the surface of its body.
Its movements begin to slow, the damage to its body too catastrophic to continue functionining as it continues to crack open, despite its best attempts to repair its body. Mircea's sheer might was too much for its fragile body.
With a final creak, the Stalker shatters into a thousand pieces upon Mircea's spear, the shards clattering to the floor as the Emperor wrenches his spear out of the wall, planting it on the ground and letting the Arvinian standard fly, as was the standard upon defeating the enemy leader.
The Silicate Stalker has been slain.
With the troop leader dead, the remaining spiders have no reason to continue being here. Without attempting to avenge the fallen Fiend, the remaining Silicate Spiders flee.
Objective: Rout all enemies achieved. Map complete!
+2 Stat Points to allocate for everyone in the Tower group.
