"I cannot fight, but I possess the powers of clairvoyance and divination. I can assist you in battle by detecting enemy locations, weaknesses and the like, though it is likely that Discord will be able to negate my abilities."

"He can..." Angelo coughs loudly. "How do you know he can do that? Did ol' Haaarrrmoneee tell you everything?"

"Preliminary tests. Attempting to locate his headquarters has been fruitless."

Angelo runs a hand through his hair, brushing away a loose bang. "Fair enough, I guess. Do I have any weaknesses, then? Or the rest of us, for that matter?"

"Do you mean he can only negate your abilities when you try to use them on him? That is, can you still use it to aid us when fighting his Fiends, if not the being himself."

"His powers can disrupt my vision. He is a being akin to Harmony, and unlike her, he is unbound by the vow to never interfere. Still, I will do what I can to assist you from afar."

"Hmm. . . Do you have any long-range communication systems? That ability is invaluable, and being able to deliver messages quickly and safely is of the utmost importance. Furthermore, how precise is your ability at range? If I were to, say, send a video feed of a foe, would this help you determine weaknesses or do nothing whatsoever?"

"I possess telepathy; I can directly transmit information to yours and you can transmit back to mine. And.....a video feed? What is that?"

"Right. Time differences. Essentially, it transmits what a device called a camera sees to another one that can display it."

Ophelia shies away from Angelo.
"I.....really would not like to be rude about it. People do not tend to like me reading their minds."

Then to Nobunaga.
"No need. My magic allows me to visualise the area without such things."

"Good to know. So, onto business: is there anywhere we should be grabbing supplies from, any further information on these fiends?"

"The village's residents are worshippers of Harmony, so they've agreed to help us with supplies. Anything else, you can trade with the villagers or scavenge for yourselves. As with the Fiends, they're within Discord's protection, so aside from what Harmony has told us, I am unable to tell you much else."

"I might be able to get us some intelligence once we get a general location," Tanis offers, "Scry blocking and dimensional anchors are pretty common back home, but only the most anal-retentive and paranoid of individuals bother making sure they can't be observed by birds.  Or trees."
