Bang shrugs and then runs off to find Prism. He does so in a very secretive way, avoiding the gaze of anyone he can. He heads down into the basement and finds prism. He yells and shakes him, telling him that they have to go. How he does this in total darkness is anyone's guess.
Prism bumbles around in the dark for a bit before finding a door along the outer edge of the room he is apparently in. He gets Bang to kick it down and they find within...well, prism finds within a skeletal corpse in a rather fine though ancient set of clothes, sitting on a large wooden throne. The skeleton has been pinned to the throne with iron spikes, and within the body's ribcage is the spirit. It looks like a spider, but with exceedingly long legs, all curled up tightly in the chest. It whispers to Prism in a sing-song, xylophone voice. Bang sees nothing but dark.
Jian besides liking the downfall of mankind and disliking all that is good and holy, these critters seem to like fruit. They mostly graze the grass but they also leap quite high in the air to snatch fruit from tree branches. They like fruit so much that they never leave any on the ground when they pass by; it is all devoured in its entirety. They seem to dislike the things most deer dislike; loud noises, being startled, and things that want to eat them.
Aurum follows bang into the basement and finds a big ass worm down there. like foot long and thick as his thumb.
Zackarine charges the big cat and tries to grab it by the throat and rip the mana out of it. [1v5] [4v4] The lion easily dodges her grab and swipes at her chest, its claws glances off her armor and doing no damage. [3v6] [0v6] Zill, at Zackarine's command, charges in to attack the lion. She leaps for it, jaws wide, but the lion turns on her, its fangs finding her throat before her attack can land. The lion's massive jaws clamp down on Zill's throat with a bone-breaking crunch and before Zackarine can do anything, the beast has ran back off into the tall grass and disappeared into the night with her hound in its teeth.
Zamia slinks silently back into the camp and quitely wakes Zach, holding her hand over his mouth as she does. As soon as he's up, she points out into the woods, to where the skinless thing is. She hasn't taken her eyes off it. Zach, though, says he can't see it.
Zrell sighs as the man abruptly turns and runs off, zig zagging and apparently trying hard to disguise and obfuscate his movements. Zrell runs back to the bounty board and asks the people there about the man he just got yelled at by. They can't tell him much beyond the fact that he talks in a very odd and bombastic way, uses a lot of phrases in a language they don't understand, and he collected the bounty on a large dangerous creature. The skull of which he wanted to keep to make into a hat.
Zruril: You find a bar no problem, but working someone up to the level of emotion needed for Empathing is rather hard. We'll see if you can.
[5v10] You get them worked up but not emotionally charged enough to get anything out of them. Also they get really suspitious when you keep trying to do the ritual suction of mana from them. They don't know exactly what you're doing, but they think its pretty weird.
As per beaming info, we'll assume its shared for the most part. However, certain info, like say your base being attacked or something critical that you'd have no knowledge of, has to be played like you don't know it. You can pass that info along if you want.
The doctor tells you that the danger is mostly from the wildlife (the sorts of which you seem to have run into already) and from the fact that you'll be climbing into big, open cave mouths that lead down into complex, unmapped caves below. However, when you talk about words, he does say that those caves are the location of countless ancient ruins and objects, so if you're looking for words, that would be the place to find them in great abundance.
Pen and paper are actually surprisingly rare; both are the processed goods of the wealthy, books are quite valuable too these days. Instead you use a bit of ink from Eclair's tattoo kit (he has a nice ink stone in there so there's plenty) and some spare cloth to jot down the contents of the tablet.
The man knows only minor things about the tides, specifically how they intersect his nets and their origins to a degree. But he says that the treasurefisher's guild in the center of town has tide maps. In terms of an expedition, he says that almost anyone that goes below does it through the caves around the river, not trying to go into the river itself. He tells you the people who go down are in the Caver's guild, also near the center of town. Though its a smaller group due to high, usually fatal, turn over of members.
Moghorn: Gonna assume you bought some glue with 1 silver and used it to glue their tails together rather than say, trying to tie them together or something. You show it to your spirit who seems pleased. He gives you 4 mana. As per selling it, you think you'd have to go to some place with lots of nobles with disposible income and no common sense for something like that.
Nina: You travel down till you reach the statue on the east side of the lake. The lake itself is massive, a many miles and miles wide expanse of dark, algae coated water with massive mangroves and floatillas of lilly pads. But the statues at either side are even more impressive; their bases are at least a mile wide and the wings spread even further than that, outstreched to maybe 2 miles total. Its frankly absurd, clearly the work of some manner of powerful magic, probably buried in the impossible inner materials making up the framework of otherwise mundane marble. A long iron cable runs from the shoulder of the statue and out towards the distant structure in the center of the lake. A switch back wooden scaffold stairway leads up from the statue's left foot to the shoulder. The climb up it is harrowing ; a mile of steep stairs is enough to nearly kill you, at least thats how it feels. Once you reach the top its a terrifying, walk across the sloping shoulder over to the station for the cart. There are other men and women here too, many of them in fact. Some are injured or sick, clearly refugees of a sort. From the east, if their clothing is any indication.
