Awesome update! I will get to writing a journal as soon as the sheet gets put up!
So far it's only myself and the captain of the bow squad? Also I'll make my pa and family proud. (Hopefully shenanigans won't ensue.)

So far the bow squad is composed of :
• Jamila Thakomimo, Captain
• Zefer Dosladapen
• Keth Ariotu
• Cuthroz Bugipx
• Cobar Muboeslo
• Dotep Umcosani

Most of them are veteran soldiers or citizens that were wounded permanently, and therefore cannot work or fight in the frontline. Jamila is one of the founders of Watershield, and operated as our general ranger until now. But since she's the only one who can use a bow, we assumed she'd be perfect as a captain, and she needs to lose some weight anyway.

Also : Madmonkey, can you pick a fitting name? You'll be dorfed in next update !

Diary of Zefer Scribefondle
I suppose for all children coming of age a book is handed to them to write in, I am Zefer Scribefondle, son of Sug Catchtrumpets and Jalew Languagecomets. I have recently enlisted into the Bowman squad in Riverguard. Theres is a bit of a problem here when it comes to home though and it's the Absurdly large roaches that decide to pop in now and then when you least expect it. I'm also a little amused at how everyone in town seems to burst into song and dance at a moment's notice, it was amusing the first time but then it's got a little repetitive, the amusement was probably to my drunken stupors, that's neither here nor there. I don't know when my duties started officially, but I was introduced into the ways to the bow by one of the founders of Riverguard, who I've found out is pretty good with a bow, I have also heard that some of us in the bow squad have...grevious wounds, which I hope is a rumour. Until next time journal, I shall sleep and continue my training for the bows.
There is a signature, crudely written at the bottom
((Is that an acceptable diary page for a 12 year old soldier?)

What I find funny is that I wasn't even kidding about the "breaking into song" bit.
There was like 5 performance reactions on the screenshot you gave. Whenever important events arrise involving him, ill try to update accordingly.

Goblins are a very strange race. Words are running they are ruled by demon overlords and they are evil in nature - but I don't believe it for a second. The reason I believe goblins may, in their very soul, be creatures of virtue lies in the experiment conducted for decades now by our neighbours, the kingdom of the Steamy Union, located in the south western island.

The Steamy Union always has been more cosmopolite than the Nation of Pearls. They are a merchant kingdom, and host a variety of people from other races in relative harmony.

Onaf Drillsqueezed is a perfect exemple of those goblins perfectly integrated into human society. He was brave, cared for his family, and entered into the orders of the Gloved Faith, a large temple, dedicating his life to virtue and worship. He gave birth and cared for six children and authored a number of treaties on mechanics. Truely an impressive man.

He was then conscripted into war with the goblin neighbours, who fought the Steamy Union for centuries for the control of the island - but before he took arms, he used his religious connexions to secure the title of Sacred Guard to his elder daughter, Lipi.

He then went to battle in 122, fighting with his human brothers of the Union. Altho he never came back, his memory is carried on by his friends and family to this day, as someone who lived a life of virtue and bravery.

However, the news of his death had an unsuspected effect on his daughter, now the head of the temple. Shocked, then entering a state of deep depression, she saccaged the temple she was to protect in a drunken stupor ; and altho the members of the Union were understanding, her Gods were not. She was cursed, and forced to crawl the world searching for blood, as a twisted creature.

She travelled through the Land of Oak, without understanding what was going on in her body, attacking settlements as if pushed by a dark force.
It has been ten years now that her curse forced her to travel from place to place.

Hustra - Zothoabo's wife, has been outside at the end of the evening to carry firewood, as she's in charge of fueling our glass making industry. Not a big deal, she thought. She's a hard worker, and every bit of work done today won't have to be done tomorrow.

Little did she know she would met Lipi's path that night.

My second turn's unnoficial goal was to turn everyone into vampires, and it backfired so bad, I ended up making the fort a more efficient, safer and friendlier place.
Apparently they evolved a taste for everything I love and care about
