Autumn 138 came and went. In Watershield, we don't see a lot of differences...It just rains a bit more than usual, and the temperature is not quite as unbearable, but aside that, almost all seasons look the same in the Enchanted Swamps.
The constructions are going smooth. Our production of copper from the enemy equipment we scavenge is divided between the production of new Gugirane armors and the plating of our outer walls. As it stands, two sets of armors out of the ten needed are already produced, and the southern side of the wall is done at 75%.
In the meantime, we decided to resume the construction of the temple ; the glass industry is running day and night to produce what we need to honor the gods as they deserve.
Strategically speaking, our scouts report a large number of goblins massed in the region, to the north east. We don't know if they are here for us, but if they are, they can keep launching their attacks for a long, long period of time. Almost two thousands of them seem ready for battle, and that's not counting the minor dark pits sprayed over the south and the east. We're in for an attriction warfare, and must remain vigilant, as we're really outnumbered in the area. We estimate their numbers at over three thousands, and our fighting personnel is...thirty. Each of us would have to kill one hundred to achieve only stalemate.

Oh wait. We know this one. She came and went to Watershield twice already in order to study. I...guess we simply didn't paid attention. Her name was Onget Cattenatag, an actually quite old goblin. Unlike most of her kind, however, she didn't waste her gift of immortality in warfare, chosing instead to study medecine.
Far, far up to the north, in a region called the "Joyous Blizzard" is a small but prosperous kingdom of Bomrek-Laltur. It is said that the very cold and inhospitable climate had created a breed of people that, unlike most of the other nations in Minbazkar, seek prosperity through cooperation instead of warfare, and instead of fighting the goblins that inhabit their surroundings, chose to integrate them into their society.
The kingdom of Bomrek-Laltur is quite unique in this reguard. Thirty percent of their population are goblins, some of them holding lands and nobility titles. That's where Onguet comes from, and this explains why speaks dwarven fluently enough to impress our dwarven scholar.
Talking to her made us learn a lot of things. She's a quite good doctor, and she claims to have written the first theory of general prognosis - among various other manuals regarding medecine. Such artefacts are stored in the town in which she studied- Ironweather - which is now the home of a giant monstruosity.
"Cim Hatemanges", a towering quadruped made of filth, always surrounded by toxic gases as she described. A monster that makes dragons pale in comparison...but as those books are now priceless, I'm sure there are a number of death seekers ready to challenge it. Time will tell.
Honestly, I don't know what buggles my mind the most in this whole story.
I'll talk to her later. Now, looks like she's praying to a dwarven god.
Like others in her culture, she holds craftsmanship to be of the highest ideals and celebrates talented artisans and their masterworks, has a great deal of respect for the law, greatly prizes loyalty, values family greatly, sees friendship as one of the finer things in life, believes that honesty is a high ideal, greatly respects artists and their works, really respects those that take the time to master a skill, deeply respects those that work hard at their labors, respects fair-dealing and fair-play, values cooperation, finds merrymaking and partying worthwhile activities, values martial prowess, values leisure time, respects commerce, values knowledge and finds nature somewhat disturbing. She personally greatly respects those that observe decorum and maintain their dignity. She dreams of crafting a masterwork someday.

She strongly prefers discussions of ideas and abstract concepts over handling specific practical issues. She very easily falls into love and develops positive feelings. She dislikes obligations and will try to avoid being bound by them, though she is conflicted by this for more than one reason. She would never pass up a chance for a good fistfight. She is very comfortable around others that are different from herself. She occasionally overindulges. She tends not to be swayed by emotional appeals. She tends to be a little tight with resources when working on projects. She generally acts impartially and is rarely moved to mercy. She doesn't tend to hold on to grievances. She likes to take it easy. She is quick to form negative views about things. She is rarely happy or enthusiastic, and she is conflicted by this as she values parties and merrymaking in the abstract. She does not go out of her way to help others. She tends to be a bit stubborn in changing her mind about things. She rolls her eyes when she's exasperated. She always snaps her fingers when she's greeting somebody.
