The Bay 12 Games Report, May 1st, 2017

Mission Status

Your generosity never ceases to amaze and inspire!  It was another great month for Bay 12 Games and Dwarf Fortress development.  Your dwarves will now give you flight-sim style debriefings when they return to your fort after having trashed their target sites.  These targets you can pick from a map or list, allowing you to see how connected your fortress is to the living world that before seemed only like a noise signal in the background.

But it gets better!  You aren't the only one that will be targeting artifacts.  Others will send spies to your fortress looking for treasure.  You may even become the target of an artifact recovery quest yourself!

Congratulations to the generous!

Fun with Numbers

Thanks for all your help in April!  Yeah, we're finally getting to the fort being the target of artifact-related actions, not just by sneaky people and sieging forces making unreasonable demands, but earnest requests for artifacts you might have liberated for which there is another strong claim.

April:     $7043.67
March:     $7208.47
February:  $6777.73
January:   $6922.58
December:  $7961.83

Reward reminder:  If you support us, you can pick either a Story Reward or a Crayon Art Reward.  A Story Reward is basically a mini-Threetoe story (examples) and a Crayon Art Reward is a crudely drawn scene which we sketch, color in, and mail to you, anywhere in the world (assuming your contribution covers postage, which is about a dollar almost wherever you are).  We take personal requests for either reward as well, he he he.  You can also be listed among the Bay 12 Champions.  You can choose any kind of reward no matter which contribution method you choose.
