I'm going to have unstable internet access for the next several days so just have Playergamer and RAM decide what I do if I'm not here.

Brave  Sir Andres leaps into the muck to retrieve the treasure and then graciously donates the proceeds to the rest of the party.
Brave Sir Andres holds the giant rat down for the others to gain the last hit, and then carefully butchers the horrid things while everyone else lounges back on the deck-chairs that Brave Sir Andres hauled into the sewer for them.
Brave Sir Andres charges through the whole sewer scraming loudly, attracting every monster in the sewer while the rest of the party strolls through and loots everything in their absence.
