So, here's a bit of analysis:
Grawr has some sort of holy symbol on his chest, seems to rule over a domain purely of blood,
Grawr is a deity, Grawr controls blood,

Is Grawr armok???

Construct a castle of purely blood and flesh. Use this tower to see if there is anybody around.
+1 Let us get to that mountain first though. After all, mountains castles are stategically superior to more grounded castles.

I wonder if Kobold's have a deity like Sauron...

Ponder any Kobold legends as to what this is...

First things first, look for something to use as a makeshift loincloth.
Make yourself a nice red fedora while you're at it, if it has to be made out of living flesh so be it. Loincloths are for pansies, go for a whole badass roman-style toga, preferably red.

You form the blood into a toga. It is still made of blood but behaves as if it is made of cloth. You don't make a fedora because honestly that sounds stupid.

Head towards the mountains. Inspect the... Sun?

You head towards the mountains. It looks like the sun is in a solar eclipse.

No matter how long you wade through the blood the mountains don't seem to get any closer.

After a few hours you spot something in the distance.

It looks like the ruins of a city.

You enter the ruins and find no signs of life.

You approach a large structure at the center of the ruins.

You hear a dark voice behind you. "There comes a point in every journey when the path is not clear."

"One must ask oneself what one seeks."

Produce some kobold gibberish utterings, but make it sound profound.

If he acts confused, or dares show us disdain, wrap him up in a giant blood clot and sink him into the blood ocean.

(If you pass buddha on the road, kill him.)

the point of the koan, is that whatever you envision as being armok, most certainly is not.

If we are inheriting his power, we don't need some mysterious figure to tell us what to do; If they knew how to be a god, why aren't they one already?

No-- We are best served through our OWN experiences, and our OWN judgements.  That's why we kill him.

Who said we inherited his power. I interpret it as us becoming a disciple of Armok when we put on the amulet, we then entered into a contract with Armok as our patron. he grants us power in exchange for us shedding the blood of others. I could be completely wrong about all of this, but I feel that we are meant to be the avatar/disciple of Armok and help bring about the end times the one priest was preaching about.
