I'm just throwing it out there that this comic takes place in a stock fantasy world with gods and magic. Their outer space might not function at all like our outer space.

That absolutely makes me want to throw jerky out the window even more.

Side Note: I forgot to say, I chortled at the stasis dream panels. I stared at them for like a full 10s before the light bulb went on in my head.

See if dodgerolls still work in zero gravity.

You never know when you might need to defend yourself in space.

This ship is self-piloted, but there are manual controls.

. . . .

TOGGLEPRESS EVERYTHING Wait patiently while looking around the cockpit for souvenir-able items that you could maybe take with you when you've landed.

Not exactly related to this adventure in particular, but I think DF stories are entering a new age. Games like this have been around a long time, but these days I've been seeing a lot more of them. Succession forts have been slowly dying out for the last few years. This whole board has slowed down a lot from the old days. But with the rise of comics like this one, I think the Community Games board will see a new age of creation. I may not contribute much, but I look forward to where this comic goes!

You shout, "DO A DODGE ROLL!" and pull on the lever.

You start to spin out of control.

Order Clara to throw a stone at it to check it for traps. My kobold nose smells a boobytrap. Improvise, Clara. If you can't find a stone, a piece of jerky works too.

You shout, "FIRE ALL MANTIS JERKY"

"Firing mantis jerky.. now.." Clara says. Pew

The mantis jerky seems to go through the gate succesfully.
