If at all possible also B in case negotiation goes badly. Sounds like the kids aren't needed in the north anymore but we could use a couple martial leaders in the south. Let's get them home.

D at least gives us a chance to make good decisions to counter his Martial ability, rather than trusting in a single roll like C would. B I could get behind, because then we counter his Martial trait with one of our own.

We can say no if that is the best they offer, but I suspect they will give something better than a white peace. They have to know that they can't actually topple Methiant, and even if their rebellion succeeds in the short run, we will eventually regain our strength and crush them again.

B, is my opinion. I don't like the "high risk" part of that, especially when we're in a situation where we won't neccesarily have bonuses in our favor. This might go very poorly if we fail.
