And if Councilor Omada takes one of the dwarfs aside and mentions a reward for good prospecting tips, that's cool.

 I would go with C. Our military is lackluster and we have sort of annoyed our best source of free military points. Plus, from the wording this may well have a bonus to economy down the road(from better local centers of government for taxation and the like and atleast make our nobility a tad more calm.

A noble uprising is underway in the far west!

Some Felonsine nobles, dodging your agents, have managed to get about two thousand soldiers, most of them horsemen, under their banners. They are led by Ewin Belgarech, who proclaims himself 'The New King of Felonsein' and aims to restore the country from your imperialist, oppressive hands.

The Felonsine peasants themselves are unsure about this. Your donations to their lands last time surely mellowed them out. Your courtiers still believe that you ought to crush the rebellion before it gains momentum, or worse, gains the support of Felonsein populace.

You decide to...

A) Do nothing for now.
B) Send the Army to crush the rebels!
C) Send a letter to him, offering negotiations.
