How fun is SPAMKINGDOM series?

Mind-bogglingly popular game series that you follow from early on and cannot stop, waiting for new installment like a drooling addict.
Long-runner soap opera you're too invested into to just stop watching it.
A fun little comic strip in the daily newspaper that's been around forever.
3/6
Who said it's fun? I didn't for sure.
I'm just waiting here for it to die horribly already so it will stop showing on my Unread Posts list.

You ask your courtiers to look for a wizard.

"Sire? There's no calamity occuring, no monsters threatening the country. Whatever for we need the wizard at the moment?"

Your attempt at convincing them fails, unfortunately.

A) Clearly they're conspiring against me. Off with their heads!
B) They must be affected too. I've got to set off into the land incognito to find myself a Wizard!!
C) Even the air here is oppressive. To the highest tower! I need some fresh air to think!!

I'm certain that if we climb to the tallest tower we'll  thrn be compelled to throw ourselves off of it. They're all awful ideas, but I feel like B is the one that will be hardest to screw up immediately.

B, let's get our fresh air outside rather than by leaping off a tower.

You decide you must find a Wizard by yourself!

The courtiers might nto let you out after this, time to sneak off!!

Succession Debate Council, 1101 AD, Autumn

The iron cane makes a loud noise when the Advisor taps the stone floor of the council chamber.

The issue at hand is as follows: after Yoe II has fled from the castle through the sewers one day, instead of simply walking out, a search was concudcted and the monarch was found babbling about end of the world and need to immediately find a Wizard. As he was seemingly struck with disease of insanity that kept holding on his mind after three months, the courtiers of Yoe II decided they need someone stable mentally on the throne.

But that became a point of contention and erupted into heated shouting, before the cane brought order back.

"It is evident that we have a split of thought here. Shall we risk a lengthy regency for Crown Prince Cyl-"

"Regency! Regency for the legimiate successor!" The cane sounds again to silence one half of the room.

"-or do we pass the throne of Methiant to Duke Luath, brother of King Yoe II and son of Yoe I, who is known to be a charismatic man?"

"Eligible to the throne! No regency, no turmoil, this the only choice!!"

"Regency! Regency of good Queen Segeda~!" The cane then once again had to bring order to the council.

After several lenghty heated discussions, some shouting contests and at least five cane interventions, the council has thus decided to...

A) Establish the Regency of Queen Segeda for Crown Prince, till he reaches age of ascension (in the distant 1113 AD)
B) Pass the throne to Duke Luath, brother of Yoe II, son of Yoe I.

Well that sucks, but I say A. If Yoe recovers then it will be much easier for him to take back the crown if it's a regency than a brother.

Wait, do we get to control Segeda during the regency? If so, A.

If not, B.

That seems a little bit harsh.

But, why wouldn't our courtiers send for a wizard now??? We're proven right in that we do need one, since they think an evil spell struck Yoe low.

Like. "Oh. We need a wizard, there's evil magic about!" "That's complete insanity, there's no evil magic, we don't need a wizard! You must have been struck by evil magic to go so insane! Too bad there's nothing we can do."

A

The decision to search for a wizard is the duty of the sitting ruler. Ergo, whoever gets on the throne. Let's hope mother knows best.

Time skipping could be good or bad, depending on circumstances. On the plus side, the bureaucratic reforms and thundercat research should be completed "next" turn. On the bad side, it would amount to completely giving up on Yoe II.

Wait, do we get to control Segeda during the regency? If so, A.

If not, B.
Averts time skip either way. Good plan.

B ut I don't think Segeda has a rulership bonus. I wouldn't mind being charismatic again, especially if the nobles are upset enough to consider splitting away.
