I was looking through older SPAMKINGDOM maps when I saw the Parsians. Which had me thinking... what exactly happened to the Parsians? Their people, culture, religion? I'm mainly curious cause I really liked the Parsians for some reason in the first game.

They were eaten by the Gubtas, the Shahshans split off in the process and helped the conquest along.

but can I just ask why you're all so obsessed with wizards that you're willing to drop the treasury to 1 (or 2, maybe) for this?

First of all, sorceress. There's a difference . . . and the sorceress is definitely the more dangerous of the two.

Second, we negotiated. I'm pretty sure the Treasury only drops to two now. Which is not as bad as it sounds supposing we're careful with other expenses this year. Recall that it increased by 2 last year.

Third, Haspen says there's a tax bonus at 8 pop that was lowered to 6 by bureaucratic reforms. By extension, there should be bonuses upon reaching 8 in the other categories: I'm inclined to believe that a massive, rare expense is our special reward for 8 wealth. Personally, I would have used the money in regular ways before we accumulated enough to interest her. I was outvoted, though, and now that we have this pile of cash I'm still inclined to spend invest it, on a game changing opportunity.

If we have 1 or 2 wealth now, next taxes we can go from between 4-6 in one go (oh, i haven't counted the salt and the chance of getting a trade route with gutba on the mountains, nor i counted with the silver mine)

I mean the price isn't the only point I'm making, more about how you all seem obsessed with magic users in general, especially when there are easier, non-magic means to deal with the problem
