You decide to meet with the Spymaster and the Advisor in one of side chambers.
The Spymaster is looking through the window, his hands behind his back in overdramatic posing. The Advisor looks a bit nervous.
"Sire, we've discovered who has sent the latest assassin." The Advisor begins.
"And who that be?" You ask, but the Advisor looks skittish and wary to answer.
"Well??"
"King Daric of Eldrican, your Majesty." The Spymaster steps away from the window.
"This man who tried to kill you recently has been apprehended by my agents and interrogated. For once, we obtained enough information from him. He was sent by the Eldricans, apparently on the orders of your brother-in-law." You sit down, trying to mull it over.
"This man has also shared enough bits of information to let us determine that indeed, the other assassin who tried to have you killed two years ago was also sent by Daric of Eldrican."
"Was... was Esta also killed by his orders?"
"Unfortunately, we have no clues to match it up to Empress' untimely demise. Her assassination will remain a mystery still."
"Damn it all! For what hellish reason would my own family try to get me murdered!?" The Spymaster looks at the Advisor, and the Advisor looks at him, then they both look at you without a word said. Just like you, they have no idea.
You decide to...
A) Write an angry letter to King Daric of Eldrican, demanding explanation, and compensation, for his vile acts of treachery!
B) Keep a lid on this discovery for now, and mayhaps you can use it later.
C) Use this as an pretext to attack Eldrican Kingdom with your glorious Army!
D) Spread the word of Daric's treachery so that his reputation suffers both in his homeland and abroad.
E) Send an assassin of your own. Once, you can forgive, but now it's eye for eye!
