Massive Fort Needs Interior Decorator, Housekeeper
« on: May 25, 2017, 10:33:18 pm »

No reasonable offer will be refused!

http://dffd.bay12games.com/file.php?id=12931

PS: I am trying to mint coins every year for 11 years.  Each year I produce

10000 Gold
10000 Silver
10000 Copper
10000 Special (Unique material each year, so far have electrum and billon)

On year 20 I want to do a coin printing extravaganza

PPS: I am also trying to standardize all my clothing and materials, mostly using steel and pig tail fiber.

Other than that, you can do what you like.  Clean!  Make nice!

As you can see, its an early colonial fort, nothing too fancy, just needs a bit of straightening up.

This is actually kinda cool.  I could use some light Dwarf time this weekend, so I am formally claiming the save.  What version is it?

Its up to date.  I sometimes wonder why we don't do succession forts more like github, with branching stories.  Or you could tell it from the perspective of two old dwarves who are kind of senile and can't remember exactly what happened.

Well, I'd love to, but... At the end of the week.
Question: do you like massive 3d halls, large 3d underground buildings, and magma canals?
Except possible without the magma canals?

Almost forgot to mention, we need an exterminator too.  Don't go in the caverns, there is a huge forgotten beast spider in the basement.  It has killed all the other vermin, i tried thought about digging a deep channel, trapping it between two bridges and raining arrows down upon it but it resulted in mass casualties cause I couldn't close the bridge in time / almost worked / looks like I need to hire a professional.

I am also trying to get rid of anything that is below excellent quality, and eventually want everything in my fort to be masterwork.  (Especially steel, since steel is expensive and time consuming to make)  I don't expect you to hold yourself to the same level of autism, but its there if you want it.

I also have a little bit of adamantium for you to work with.  I haven't done anything with it.

Well, its your loss, fellow dorfs.

I guess I'll stop bumping the thread, since no one seems interested.
