Question regarding [grasp] and jobs
« on: June 02, 2017, 06:16:54 pm »

Is it required that a creature have a [grasp] part in order to do certain jobs?

Will a dwarf that has lost both arms be able to, say, run a forge?

having no grasp parts makes it difficult to do almost every job, since it requires picking up and moving stuff. I'm not sure if an armless dwarf can run a pump jack, since he wouldn't need to move anything (items) but other than that, I think having no grasp makes probably 99% of jobs impossible. Why the old Cat fortress mod, made their mouths a GRASP part
