I'm thinking about doing an interest check before I put unnecessary amounts of time into the original post. How many people would be interested in a game of Land Wars?

1: That was when I was considerably younger (13 then vs 16 now) and not exactly as professional as a host. I at least try to avoid halfassing things unless I have no other option, since I'm trying to have the main cause of my games dying be something more reasonable like burnout or lack of players.

2: You should consider pitching your MMOCure idea to some medical research facilities. It should be a good idea during this overly long pandemic.

Hmm, generally it's more effort to learn to play with someone else's toybox, than to put something together yourself. I think when people say things like this because they are bored, it doesn't really go anywhere. But if you are looking to challenge yourself, Haspen once hosted a game called Ziggurat of Trials which was a fun delve into a layered dungeon where you could solve puzzles and obstacles with ESP or strength or intelligence, or with acrobatics, or some combination. I'd love to see that again.

[color=transparent]The Google Doc was added so that even if the topic creator (me, in this iteration) ever became inactive as is natural to happen at some point, the forum game list could still retain functionality. However, there are some situations in which despite this, my thread should be replaced if I become inactive and these problems arise: 1. Hub threads have been replaced but the links here do not go to the new ones, or similarly new hubs for new game genres are not being represented. 2. Something else about the thread that would benefit from change or new content. If one of these conditions have been met and I am unavailable to rectify them then congrats, you can make a new game list thread. If I am still around but just lost interest, it may be worthwhile to have me explain the transfer to ToadyOne, otherwise you must ask them to pin your new thread yourself. 1. Post your game. Include [b]a link[/b], [b]a description[/b], and [b]what category[/b] or basic mechanics it uses.
2. [url=https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/177sIGwMqyfFPAckhcpuFIa1VmCjbR6FNYK7nn1zxg68/edit?usp=drivesdk]The Game List[/url] is a [u]live[/u] google sheet, that [u]anyone[/u] can edit. By posting your game here, you invite someone to add it there for you if you haven't already.
3. It will stay up for 2 months, then go to the the [u][b]Archive[/b][/u] tab of the same document. You can renew the post date to keep it on the list longer. The transfer is facilitated by "samaritans".
4. The background color of your entry will change based on which tag you put in the category box. You can see them and suggest new categories on the [u][b]Tags[/b][/u] tab.
5. Incase of shenanigans, use [url=https://support.google.com/docs/answer/190843?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en]these instructions[/url] to restore a previous version. Easy enough.

Highlight below for game list thread replacement procedure:
[color=transparent]The Google Doc was added so that even if the topic creator (me, in this iteration) ever became inactive as is natural to happen at some point, the forum game list could still retain functionality. However, there are some situations in which despite this, my thread should be replaced if I become inactive and these problems arise: 1. Hub threads have been replaced but the links here do not go to the new ones, or similarly new hubs for new game genres are not being represented. 2. Something else about the thread that would benefit from change or new content. If one of these conditions have been met and I am unavailable to rectify them then congrats, you can make a new game list thread. If I am still around but just lost interest, it may be worthwhile to have me explain the transfer to ToadyOne, otherwise you must ask them to pin your new thread yourself. This is the official Forum Games and Roleplaying games list thread and Google document. You can find the only multiplayer games B12 is likely to have anything to do with here. Feel free to start one of your own.

1. Post your game. Post a [b]link[/b], the [b]title[/b], and a [b]description[/b] of the basic gameplay and story.
2. [url=https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/177sIGwMqyfFPAckhcpuFIa1VmCjbR6FNYK7nn1zxg68/edit?usp=drivesdk]The Game List[/url] is a [u]live[/u] google sheet, that [u]anyone[/u] can edit. By posting your game here, you invite someone to add it there for you if you haven't already.
3. It will stay up for 2 months, then it will go to the the [u][b]Archive[/b][/u] tab of the same document. You can renew the post date to keep it on the list longer.
4. The background color of your entry will change based on which tag you put in the category box. You can see them and suggest new categories on the [u][b]Tags[/b][/u] tab.
5. Incase of shenanigans, use [url=https://support.google.com/docs/answer/190843?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en]these instructions[/url] to restore a previous version. Easy enough.
