ok, that gives us our requisite 4 dwarves, you may now start to perform actions, please make a separate post for each action you're performing to keep it distinct!
I suggest the council fills up other positions from the available dwarves since you seemed so keen to petition before.  here's a list of untaken positions:
Militia commander, Captain of the guard, manager, bookkeeper, broker, hammerer
I will now play the first season as well, cathar you are the mayor if you have any particular direction to give the fort say so now (but I have plenty to do in the first few season so certainly not necessary)

didn't I just say put each action as separate posts! otherwise sure I like the colours
also you shouldn't be posting someone else's petition ( I was going to wait for fakerfangirl to post the petition again since the start of the game) also if you're posting about someone else's petition you should be posting what your vote is as a council member or if you want to abstain
For now can you just edit this down to one action please

Season 1, spring 250
Note: I will be playing through the first 4 seasons quickly independent of player action
The first season passed fairly uneventfully, just digging out space for farms and a meeting area.  The embark is mostly a flat woodland with little tiny hills (the wagon is basically on top of where the stairwell is on one of these hills)

and what's more, marble was found just below the surface!  Steel will abound in this fortress with a nice trim of gold to top it off.
OOC: Dwarves have gained their seasonal influence based on their profession or position.
