I have the save, though not a powerful computer, but I'll play it nonetheless.

Much as I'd love to continue my hole, I'm on vacation at the moment, and my ancient laptop can't handle the fortress.

JStheguy, you're up.

'Aight, got a doctors appointment coming up, so it'll take a bit, though.

Re: Sanctume's Ch.6, 1 Hematite

If sunshine is majority, shouldn't it be generic booze?

Still, that's rather excessive reaction for 3 invaders. Training "don't care about anything anymore?"

Not quick enough, tho. Maybe the squads should train closer to map edges.

Re: Nunore

A kite may be bird, usually, but it resembles hot air balloon, here.

What did the DW squads dualwield, again?

Thankfully, it wasn't hot chlorine or something.

Regarding the well, iirc part of the embark freezes for 1 day in year. Maybe that's the problem?

Re: Ch.7 Duas Turres

No OSHA here, no sire. Do work or get beaten.

Skywalk buildng is neaaah? Why's there's so much blood in refurbished rooms?

Re: Crossroad 1

I think the visitors should be thankful for guards.

Though maybe not, given how often the guards kill visitors.

Re: Crossroad 2

That utility room would be pretty long to access. Probs not happening.

Re: Crossroad 3

I take it entrance is from theground level? Don't grok the purpose.

There is only 1 large farm plot, and it's sunshine year round.  And one area has a large food stockpile for food, which I used to give t small stockpiles in D2 and crossroad one.

Most of those squads were survivor's in the sieges during Bearskie's turn.  The new squaddies I added are those visitors who petition to become citizen.

I don't know what [DW] meant.  I though it was someone's initials.

I deconstructed the wall and re-linked the hatch to the lever.  Then after the wall is sealed back, I set to IsPond.  So this happened between spring-autumn, when I noticed that the linked hatch cover has been deconstructed.  Since the well is 3z deep + the portable drain below the hatch, I constructed nethercap floor z+1 of the hatch.  If the well is filled, then the bucket should stop at the nethercap floor and work without messing up the hatchcover drain.

I only added furniture. I did not say I replaced the bloody floors and walls.  :D
This was where the first were-something was put, a quick room in the hospital basement.

The new squad that train below Crossroad 1 have members that are either depressed or throwing tantrum.

I was thinking this would be Commander Nek's (were-something) new room, so he can at least remained locked and train his skills instead of being locked in a 1x1 all the time.

Yep, just one stairs from ground to top, similar to Crossroad 1.

Ha ha ha ha funny there were no survivors. Except for Kenobi and the archers. [DW] means dual-wielders.

I intentionally placed the barracks half a map away from the siege spawn point (E4). In our current state without any siegecaps, we would be completely massacred in a head-on attack. It was tried in my turn, and I had a semi-competent military, look how that turned out. The only way to thwart the siege is to bunker down, stretch their offensive thin across the map, and perform surgical strikes against those who splinter from the main group.

Man, military stratagems in Dwarf Fortress is exciting. I hope we still have a crappy military by my turn. :)

It's been close to a month, and JS hasn't been online since. Here's to hoping nothing bad happened during his medical appointment. Can we just skip to the next person?

Oh, uh, shit.
I kinda forgot about this whole thing while I've been distracted with getting therapy for my inability to eat.
