Deathmine, pit of treason was a reasonably successful fortress.
Now, there are more dead than alive.
Let me tell you the story.

I will continue with more edits once more progresses, as the fort is not completely dead yet.
YET.

they die so fast, it's getting hard to keep track.

I'm not an expert on the political climate but I'm pretty sure that politicians don't join armies and invade dwarven fortresses.

I just discovered this, after more than a few months.
After I checked the world pop today, I noticed that there were no more elves.
I was starting to wonder why there weren't many engravings of elves, and that none were visiting the tavern, even though exotic sorts, like hoary marmot (and other animal people) men & women.
One of the bards I killed is, no, was the last elf in the oracular realms.
What other people strive to do, I did by complete ACCIDENT.

I noticed that there were no more elves...
One of the bards I killed is, no, was the last elf in the oracular realms.

I believe that this merits a round of hearty applause.

I have great difficulty understanding how the dwarven psyche works.
I mean, if we're going to traumatise them, we may as well make them hideous freaks too.

I believe the corpse is still rotting over there, but the entire world is too laggy for me to reclaim or explore.
