Making a gnoll civ, need position names.

As simple as that.

scamtank:
settlement leader: vasar
(in ancient times, intra-tribe peace was maintained with a strictly observed conduct of non-violence. aside from behavior norms, the chief was often the only one in the village with casual access to weapons handy enough to brain a guy, thus underlining his sovereign authority to settle quarrels. the word comes from an old, since discontinued loanword for "hammer", acquired from a since extinct race of cougar men)

militia: spearman, in command of self-appointed scouts, each in command of a 4-gnoll squad of warriors
(the first known instance of deputized military command was an unnamed lowborn vasar delegating a raid to his personal spear-carrier in an old myth, an occasion referenced in the title of all subsequent gnoll generals. their lieutenant scouts were a much later invention, but the naming convention is part of the same story. warriors are just warriors, no use mincing words)

broker: dogface
(xenophobic as gnolls are, rubbing shoulders with "rival" tribes or races is a mark of shame indicative of deeper personal flaws, making traders a magnet for mockery. frequent contact with equally unsympathetic humans has made sure that their preferred slur for gnolls has become the general word for merchants, smugglers or just about anyone not turning a cold enough shoulder towards outsiders. clear context is vital when calling someone a dogface, as it is just as much a job description as it is a bloody insult)

bookkeeper: counter
(keeping track of loot was set aside for whoever could grasp numbers. math skill is not a glamorous quality to have either in such a martial society, but a counter's personal favor in the old days meant the difference between a fat share of the winnings and having to steal or starve, so the title has retained a name relatively free of mocking and fuckery)

chief doctor: nose
(gnolls can smell disease. it's customary to appoint an especially perceptive gnoll in the colony to solely keep track of the foulness of the village's vapors, as to warn the medicine men ahead of time of any potential breakouts of illness. as medical knowledge advanced, this role was extended to generally keep track of everyone's physical and mental wellbeing - such uniquely "nosy" behavior in the otherwise highly private society of gnolls made sure that the archaic name has managed to hang on for so long)
