Templar subscribes to the "Show and tell" brand of Diplomacy.

Glass is, as usual, correct.
Yep, as ever, I bestow upon Glass the expected +1
I'm gonna say we go with whatever Glass's idea is.

Show them the burning fire of a thousand rifles, each synchronized to the drum beats of the commanders in his unstoppable legions. show them the ashes of those who got in his way, as their lives were taken away along with everything they held dear. Bring the torch of annihilation, show them how it leaves nothing but ash in its wake.

Tell them of the glory of service, the glory of a world which could be Utopia if the work of the legions is over.

I get the impression that TEMPLAR doesn't really like "negotiation" very much.

I mean, when you have the firepower to back up your brand of diplomacy there really isn't a reason to change it.

"Primarily fighting pirates. I'm not here to extort anyone, and you don't need to accept if you don't want to. It's just that I'm currently the only living person on this ship; as far as I can tell, everything else is run by A.I. Having more people, more opinions and perspectives, could be helpful."

I vote that we don't let Templar take over the situation and I +1 this idea.

There is a reason to change it. It's called "you're not in charge anymore". Also, let's not become just as bad as (or worse than) the pirates.

I say that we make a couple of smaller ships meant for combat, then attack another pirate base.

+1 to this. I'd say each should be able to deal at least 5 damage per turn, if not more, and be very good at evasive maneuvers.

Does 6 ships sound good?

So question to Templar: Theoretically, could we use the autoforge create another autoforge? If yes, what materials would be required?

((Batshit evil, pessimistic neutral and clumsy good cover nearly entire spectrum. Sadly, but optimists are a rare breed, that is currently running into extinction.))
((That tends to happen when you're optimistic enough to wait out the apocalypse. I wish them plenty of luck, but chances are they'll need it.))
