Jav Miner closest to Seraphiel

You really can both sig it.
But... That would break the laws of sigging! We can't have everyone running around with the same quotes. IT MAKES THEM UNFUNNY FASTER!

Grelen unrolls the darkened scroll, reading words of power that give him the secrets of the shades. This power allows him to see paths where there were none before, moving between shadows almost as a ghost would.

Grelen promotes to Wanderer!

Felicia takes on the miner a bit too close, as the hammer hit proves, but her lunges are accurate and the bandit goes down.

: This is power! Fearghal's Luna attack takes out a chunk of Naziri's side, and she goes down to the floor bleeding heavily, but it's not immediately lethal.

...He's too strong for me to take down quickly. The best I can do is soften him up. Hell, it's past time I stop hogging all the glory anyway... I've had my time in the sun and I spent it in the shadows.

"Get ready to back me up. We're going all out."

Vahn to I8, apply Quarterstaff to Fearghal's gut to weaken him King Hippo style.

The hard head of the staff causes ripples through Fearghal's body. The druid turns to try and take a chunk out of him like with Naziri, but the Warlock evades the hit.

Quote from: Vahn vs Fearghal
Vahn attacks!
Hit: 114+5-5-30=84. Roll: 73. Hit!
Fearghal takes 23-7=16 damage!

Fearghal counterattacks!
Hit: 95+5-5-40=55. Roll: 68. Miss!

: What's the matter, Warlock? Too afraid to get in a magic duel with the master?

"I'ts just simple math. The time it takes him to knock out one of us is long enough for me to both reverse the damage with my staff and heal someone else."

Move to J11, heal Naziri and Canto to I13.

"His weight makes him slow. It doesn't matter how much damage one can do if the enemy heals faster."

: I take offense to that last part! I am the master- GAH The response got interrupted by a spear through the chest. Not being able to gather enough air to vocalize spells or to keep living, the druid falls dead.

Quote from: Anna vs Fearghal
Anna attacks!
Hit: 121+5-5-30=91. Roll: 11. Hit!
Crit: 17+5-5-2=15. Roll: 97.
Fearghal takes 21+3-7=17 damage!
Fearghal dies!

And with him dead, the mine is emptied of bandits and cultists.

"Well struck, miss Anna."

"Let's have a look around, see if we can gather any further information."

"There was an oddly high amount of dark magic users in this cave. Maybe I should search the bodies for information. I wonder... Why was this mine hidden? And why did the priest knew about it's existence?"

Search the body of the fat guy.

Fearghal had a few things on his large body. First of all, the Luna tome he used was intact and ready to be given a new user. A ledger detailing the amounts of iron needed and mined, and two messages, one from Magruder himself, only a request for updates and containing no useful information, and one unsigned:

"People sent by the King are coming to get you."

Whether the curt note was a warning or an attempt at intimidation couldn't be determined.

Seraphiel gets Luna!

Grelen checks the rest of the caves, but all there is is chunks of iron ore dislodged by the miner's hammers. Any useful items would have been in the chests already seen and opened.

Jackard jumps down from his horse and approaches Vahn.
Mr.Vahn would you mind talking with me? I have question for you. It concerns your abilities as Warlock.

"You got it. Excuse me for a moment."

The second sentence was directed at the rest of the party before he guided Jackard over to a quieter corner and leaned a shoulder against the wall.

"Ask away."

Tell me Vahn, can you talk with the dead? I need to speak with my father to learn the ways of the sword. I have a keep sake if you need it. Jackal pulls a worn and battered bandana from his bag.
