*Yaawwwnnn...* I might need an Iron Lance and an Iron Javelin. The weapon I fought with down in the mines seems to be too frail to use all the time.

Anna rubbed her eyes wearingly. She spent the last evening writing a report letter to her superiors on what transpired in Kovitz up until now and sent it away via a pidgeon, carefully excluding any of the newest development.

It was later than usual, but a pigeon arrived to town with a letter. It was a response for Anna's report, but there was more than just a confirmation for a satisfactory reporting:

After your latest report we have considered you fit for promotion. From now on you can consider yourself a full fledged Pegasus Knight, and your pegasus your own. Once you return you will begin your training in sword combat for further advancement.

It was curt, but she had the approval of her superiors.

Vahn had been switching between stalking Braoul and Seraphiel through the woods all day, keeping an eye on both of his charges to make sure nothing happened to them. Of course, nothing happening in general wasn't a good sign, either. Regardless, he had followed the Jackal to the forge to see what was available.

I could use that shiny new killer bow, can we afford it now?

"Everyone seems to want new weapons, but do we have enough money for it? I feel we should be careful and save some for the future. We might be getting a reward if we manage to get rid of the bandits, but that's not a reason to waste money."

"Now, this would be a good time to sell the weapons we haven't used recently or are too damaged because of overuse. I don't think I'll be using my old iron dagger anymore, so I will be selling it."

"Hmm. Well, this staff has served me for decades but I think it'll be on its last legs soon. I still want to hold on to it for my own reasons. I suppose I could trade this tome toward a new weapon, however."

"...Another reminder of your past, isn't it? I would ask about it's meaning, but I don't want to be too intrusive."

Seraphiel then turns to Evelyn.

"Talking about weapons, I wish there was more variety for small weapons. Lots of swords, axes and lances, but I find them too cumbersome. Is this everything that is currently avaible?"

Waiting for their next mission in town, Jaromir spent a long time examining the medallion that he had taken from one of the fallen bandits. It had obviously not originated with the man, being of too high quality for any mere bandit to have made, but he had taken good care of it. Its subject was a noble, or perhaps a knight, and simply oozed heroism from their image. Jaromir could only hope that one day he would meet that standard.

"I don't know who you were, but I hope I can find out someday."

The tiredness vanished when Anna received news that a letter arrived for her. The seal showed that it came from her superiors, and eagerly she opened the letter.

I guess... It's actually time to use this. I won't disappoint them.

Anna took out the elysian whip and held it with an iron grip, wishing from her soul to become stronger, strong enough to fulfill the expecations cast on her.

Anna promotes to Falcon Knight

The elysian whip dissolved into golden sprites as a sudden gust of wind circled around Anna and Pyre, wherever the pegasus where, and dispersed the remains of the whip over their bodies, infusing them with its speed. The pegasus started whining, calling for her now owner.

Anna promotes to Falcon Knight!

The emblem started shining in Jaromir's hand, as if answering his wish.

"I didn't notice, sorry. A steel dagger should be enough, for now."

Seraphiel sells his Iron Dagger and buys a Steel Dagger.

"Is anyone else going to make any purchases?"
