"...Honestly, I can't even see these bandits taking over the town. They might have huge numbers, but even their leaders weren't particularly strong or durable."

Immortality like that would be even more game breaking than four Aaron's in one place.
You're both so obviously scum that this is a surprisingly difficult decision.

"...That's not exactly true. It's hard for you to see your own growth, but you've all improved significantly since I first met you. Normal people would have a tough time with all these bandits, but you kids..."

"But what if this isn't actually the real attack? We know the bandits had spies in the town, and most of our enemies here are either wyvern tamers or nomads. What if the bandits planned this attack as a distraction while the real army strikes from another direction unnoticed? Or maybe I'm being too paranoid..."

I6 Attack Nomad Raider H with the Crossbow
We may be doing well Seraphiel, but these men are no slouches and I doubt this many people have been simply a distraction. I've seen the group of nomads called in before by themselves to wipe out entire villages, the fact that it's two groups together means they spared no expense. It's not that they aren't good, we're just better in every conceivable way! We are much stronger than before, and we now work effectively as a team!
