Trolls vs vertical bars?

I have to ask, since I use vertical bars linked to a lever to seal of my fort when under siege. I have never seen a troll tear one down, but the wiki states that they should. Has anyone else observed this, or is it a bug/error in the wiki?

I saw troll tear down two in a vault last weekend (then he promptly died 'cuz rouge angels of satin).

It is possible that your bars have ramp right in front of them. In that case, the troll would be unable to path to them, and they'd be indestructible much like a locked hatch.

I dont belive so, but then again, I didn't exactly research this, so maybe im just mistaken. in any case I am completely satisfied that it is not a bug if you say you saw it happen.
