What's the story with Dwarf Therapist?
« on: August 24, 2017, 12:09:15 pm »

Since the conversion to 64 bit, is it just abandoned/defunct? I've checked the Splinterz branch thread, but its gotten full of competing posts, discussions, various links, etc, to the point that I think most people who don't develop and have just grabbed it to run it are probably going to not know what to make of everything in there. I don't.

So can anyone give a summation? Is Therapist basically going away as an option for managing dwarves? Is there any alternative that doesn't involve reliance on using DFHack? I'm not a big DFHack user myself. I only run it if I absolutely need to do something only DFHack offers which, for me, works out to maybe once per feature update of Dwarf Fortress.

Anyways...just wondering if anyone can provide a simple summation.

Here's a fixed version.

Also this belongs in the Utilities subforum.
