Wiki not displaying pictures correctly
« on: September 03, 2017, 07:54:38 am »

I've been experiencing this problem since about last Tuesday (August 29). The wiki's pictures are all being displayed as either error text or red links.

I'm using the main page gallery as an example because it has the most pics in one page, but this happens in all articles of the wiki to me. Trying to directly check a picture's "page" will accuse it of not existing, when it clearly does.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem? At first I thought it was some sort of temporary server bug, but it's been nearly a week now.

Yes, I had difficulty uploading the recent new images because of this. Also thought it was a temp site bug that would eventually resolve itself. I hope the addition of more images didn't compound the situation.

Refreshing the page make some images appear correctly again, but some remain broken, and then when I come back later the images are all broken once more, so it's variable. But generally they are broken.

How did you get them to work? They still aren't displaying for me.

I'm not sure if this is related to your issue, but:

Recently, I started seeing a lot of websites which refused to display any images for me. It turned out that this was due to my PC clock, which had started to lose time constantly. Apparently, web browsers these days refuse to display images or other things if it can't verify the authenticity of the site's certificate. And it can't do that if your PC clock is off by more than an hour or so.
