I wrote a fantasy world once where the Dwarves (which were not based on DF) had Clan names in addition to their normal names.  So a Dwarf might have a name like Jimmy "The Hammer" Jones DurSharks, meaning Jimmy's is descended from the Jones, his was given the name Jimmy at birth, he earned the title "The Hammer", and he is part of the Sharks clan.  Noble dwarves would have the same name Clan and family names, so a name like Suzy "Long Braid" Sharks DurSharks would tell you instantly that Suzy is part of the ruling family of her clan.  Dwarves without a clan were called DurAster, meaning "of the Stars" implying a wanderer.  The dwarves in this setting were highly materialistic and capitalistic, so the dwarf's family name and clan affiliation would be negotiated as part of the marriage contract.  So if Jimmy "The Hammer" Jones DurSharks married Suzy "Long Braid" Sharks DurSharks, the couple would obviously desire for their children to carry the Sharks family name.

Reading his name would trigger it. Thinking of him would trigger it. No other circumstances would trigger it- it was strictly related to the concept of Bill Clinton entering the conscious mind.
