I suggest that Abu takes Lava, because Lava Fireforwards seems like a great ranged nuke and Abu has the best stats for ranged offensive spells. Though he might require some additional schooling because he's an idiot nonwizard. ;P
No glittery shiny gold or diamond words to sell this time. We do have Toxin though, which should let us do some fun Garstopit "pranks". PW says that Lock is a form, which I think means we can't use it to Hold Person, unfortunately. We've got two Spears, which I think means that I should cast [Spear Spear Clockwork] and give the result to Kay. Or maybe [Spear Spear Largefirearm Clockwork] for that dank trick weapon. We also have two extra Walls, which I suggest we spread amongst ourselves so that we can make extra big megawalls.

For building a giant thaum powered robot? Well, a lot of high quality metal  to start with, for the body. Then a lot of silver for the thaum channels in the limbs and body. Then silver and spellsteel for the brain, as well as someone to sit around inside it for a week imparting a personality to it while also pouring thaum into it. That will get the robot part up, but weapons are another story. Gonna need either mundane weapons for that or spellsteel arrangements with proper spells worked in.

As per jetpacks or other flight devices. Aside from zeppelins no one is really selling flying devices. You'd probably be better off summoning a flying mount.  Or inventing one.

The big cat jerks and struggles and pulls itself free within a few moments, landing down on the third level of the pit. The tentacle, oddly, does not try to follow, it just holds its position while gently wiggling. 

The other things on this level are...less friendly. Three lion men pour out of a hole in the north wall and start moving towards you while an ant the size of a truck and some giant maggots start coming in from the south east. Meanwhile, up on the second floor of the pit, the horned men are peeking their heads out and looking at Thag, incomprehensible emotion glimmering in their giant black eyes.
