Yeah, what else would I be doing?

After activating my mark, cast [Contain / Explosive] on my rifle. (It's currently unloaded. Try to keep the containment pointing the explosive towards the enemy.)

And take some damn cover! What are the guards armed with?

You charge into the man, planting your shoulder against his chest and wrapping your arms around him, trying to slam him into the wall. He wobbles a bit but then sets his feet and leans forward, countering your strength and standing firm.

People have unfortunately moved out of the way for a good backstab, so you just charge the dumb SOB who is nearest to you.

You step in and swing the blade around in a savage arc, catching the man right on the bridge of his nose and liberating the top of his head from the bottom.

[3v2] You manage to gain enough composure to try and act. Luckily you're entirely wrapped in random bits of cloth that actually provide a perfect source for cloth bandages. You wad one up and then hold it in place with a wrapped and tied length of cloth. It stops or at least slows the bleeding.

You run to get behind  the other two overseers. Unfortunately you are very slow so its gonna take a bit.






The overseer to the south takes a shot at Big Poppa immediately after he decapitates the other overseer down there. [3v2] Big Poppa sees the gun point at him and dodges about unpredictably. The shot misses him by a wide margin.

Another overseer, the one who got shot in the leg, limps out of the doorway of a building to the north and takes another shot at Big Poppa. [4v2] The shot hits the stone wall a few feet from big poppa and issues a spray of chalky dust and fragments of stone.

The Overseer across the way and the one already in the room with Cyril both attack him with their blades.

[2v2][6v1]

Cyril ducks out of his failed tackle as the first overseer tries to stab downward into Cyril's spine. The blade brushes his scalp as he scrambles back and a thin trickle of blood pulses out through his hair. The next blow comes from Cyril's left, the other overseer running through the doorway and swinging as he comes. Cyril jukes to one side  and the slash goes wide.

Are these alchemists actually loyal to whoever currently owns this joint, or doesn't it matter to them who they work for as long as they can keep doing so? Are there any actual guards around (that we can see) or is it just the alchemists?

What exactly is 'this work'? What are they doing here, and if we were to take over and take the magic words from this hex, would that interfere? Or are the magic words and their work unconnected?

Either way, try to get into the nearest cover.

If Sarge's ammo spell works, and he's willing to share, Corven will grab a few rounds from the supply.  If it didn't work, or Sarge's being selfish, Corven will cast "Clockwork Ammunition" himself, and spread the bullets between the rest of the team.

Then, he'll take cover next to Raven.


((Current semblance of a plan: Shoot at anyone visible until they hole up inside.  Then start summoning massive amounts of "Cloud [harmfulWord]" inside the place, in hopes of killing most of the defenders.

...We should probably not group up, like Corven is doing.  I bet alchemists have AoE attacks.))
