As part of expansion of DF graphic component it would be nice to add to existing texture tokens (DEFAULT, STANDARD, GHOST , LAW_ENFORCE, TAX_ESCORT) such as MERCENARY, CRIMINAL and maybe MONSTER_SLAYER\BEAST_HUNTER.

For example:
[CREATURE_GRAPHICS:DWARF]
       [AXEMAN:Newdwarf:0:0:AS_IS:MERCENARY]   
       [SWORDSMAN:Newdwarf:0:1:AS_IS:MERCENARY]

Never too early for a suggestion. Just think how disappointed you'd be if you waited 20 years and your idea didn't happen because you forgot to suggest it.

Probably should have just added this to one of the many, many other graphics suggestions though.
