Juvenile Animals in Wild Packs

It seems that when one comes across for examples a herd of water buffalo or a pack of wolves, they are all adults. It might be more interesting if some babies and children could appear too.

If a group of animals camp on the map they tend to produce offspring...

The don't typically give birth on map though unless they stay for a long while, so I for one am for the idea of bears coming onto the map with cubs and elephant herds grazing with their kids.

I'm not opposed to the idea. In fact, I think it would add a little to immersion. I just pointed out it can happen with campers (which, by definition, overstay their time on the embark). Apart from immersion, you also have the side effect of easier access to young animals for complete taming, unless those rules are modified, but I don't think that would cause any measurable imbalance, as it's reasonably easy to breed captive animals to get young for permanent taming.
