I'm 100% sure, but you're not using an A4 5000 cpu... In a laptop.
I don't know what A4 5000 CPU is, but it's several years old laptop if it helps?

There's no computer on earth that could possibly bring 1 FPS on even the oldest computer capable of running DF to 68, though. Hence the question if you uploaded the right save?

Would a 32- bit OS have issue running DF 64-bit, maybe?

In case you're being serious:  That's a technological impossibility.  They're different architectures - think of it like a centipede trying to mate with a donkey.

Edit:  The other way around is possible because the AMD64 architecture(commonly called x86_64, or ambiguously "64-bit") was specifically designed to be able to run x86(commonly ambiguously called "32-bit", despite being a series of different-but-backwards-compatible architectures) software.

Edit 2:  Grammar.
Edit 3:  Terminology and clarification.
Edit 4:  There's also the issue of different libraries.  Let us not speak of that can of worms.

Sadly, the head doctor MoonstoneFlower became depressed.  I am not sure if she will be able to recover.

I had two saves in the DF saves folder, the one I uploaded and a half a year old fort.

Huh. Oh well, that's very weird that you can get 1 FPS on only some machines/systems (64bit lubuntu here). Might be worth laser-focusing on the cause and uploading to bug tracker; that's almost as severe issue as a crash bug.

Personally I've had this issue once before, when I locked a dwarf into a cavern and he got thirsty. That was a pain.

I have the save, and only halfway to the first month.  I don't have FPS monitor up, but I was just following the first construction worker who is building a rutile bridge to access D2.

oops wrong thread, haha. carry on.

Thank You. Luckily I have few days off next week to work on a project of mine (long story short, my manager dared me into scratch building a model of a Soyuz rocket, not going well when I have only after-work hours to do it so took a short break to get on with that.). I should be able to get some things done, and even if it is not that in-depth we will have some advancements.

EDIT: What I mean is that I can plan things out, push the "GO!" button and periodically check if everything is going fine. Like a proper Admministratum... Although with check ups every 10 minutes instead of every 3 centuries or so...

The Time has Come. Magos-Biologis of The Ceilings of Purifying, Palidorius Demetris, haunted by the visions of the Dwarf Emperor, has set out to create the mandated New Dwarves. Will he manage to sway the local populous  in his favour, or will they burn him at the stake for heresy...

So, I took a look around and... why are we making copper serrated disks? Weapon traps break the game now if I recall, and spike balls have much higher trade value... There will be some changes around here, let me tell you!

Edit: I just noticed I am not playing from the 01/01/253, instead 22/04/253. Am I doing a full year or just rounding this one off?

@exodius1: Actually, they have the same value. Though I'd leave copper for more important efforts like making everything purple and use glass instead, provided there's sand.

I checked before and there is no sand... Otherwise I would have made glass. Didn't know weapon traps broke the game and I think you are finishing my turn and doing another year.
