Streaming with a graphical mod!

So.. I was planning on introducing Dwarf Fortress on my stream tonight but the regulars want a graphical mod for it.. I have never used one and would really like to know which one people would recommend, basically.. :-)

When I use one, I like Phoebus. Straightforward, and the dwarves look like dwarves should, complete with different "skins" for their primary skillset.

If this is the first time you are playing it i recommend Peridexants starter pack which can be found

YOu can easily switch between the different sets, personally i love spacefox :)

Phoebus has been my number one choice since the beginning, but I say pick which ever one you like the look of best.

Mayday is a good choice because it doesn't edit many raws. This means it is often compatible with newer versions of Dwarf Fortress before it's released. I haven't had to update it in over a year. The current version of Mayday is compatible with everything from 42.05 to 44.02. It doesn't have a pedestal tile in it yet, but neither do most of the graphical packs.
