Hunting dog bitten by a werebeast
« on: October 17, 2017, 02:16:28 pm »

In a fight with a weremoose I read that the weremoose has bitten my huntig dog inthe lower body, tearing apart the muscle and tearing apart the left kidney.

Will this dog transform into a weremoose later?

I'd suggest butchering it before it dies of it's injuries regardless.

The *large serrated steel disk* strikes the Raven in the head, tearing apart the muscle, shattering the skull, and tearing apart the brain!
A tendon in the skull has been torn!
The Raven has been knocked unconcious!

Elves do it in trees. Humans do it in wooden structures. Dwarves? Dwarves do it underground. With magma.

Specifically, it needs [CAN_LEARN].

Though if you remove that tag from the interaction raw, you can make literally anything were-cursable.

I wonder if in worldgen this will end you with things like "a bee that turns into a weretiger".

I'm disappointed that dragons don't have the "can learn" tag and can't get the were-curse.

Nahhhhh just remove the CAN_LEARN requirement! Then everyone can enjoy the thrills of becoming a were-goose every full moon.

Dragons -> Stealth Weremammoths.

I challenge you to come up with something worse.

Dragons are only intelligent with modding.

A were-(insert animal here, i personally went for buffalo, good muscular body & horns ruined many forts of mine) blind cave ogre caused by locking these creatures in a room together. Hopefully saving both by also putting cage traps within the room.

It can always see perfectly at night with [extravision] has enormous body mass & horns for goring, they can pick up weapons also.

I second stripping the intelligence requirement off the interaction. You'd have to add intelligence to every creature you wanted to turn, the other way, and you'd be removing your ability to butcher them if you did that.
