Using LNP and want to know if there is a way to search for a specific item?

I would like to know how to search for specific items when viewing the stock menu? While. In stock menu I hit tab then I hit S for search option but when I type in say wood bed or just bed nothing comes up. Does this not work or am I doing something wrong?
