Does anyone know the process to make steel the new version.  I think I need a flux like limestone, but I have borax which is a commonly used flux in our world so.......idk.

You can check what materials count as fluxes by going z->stones and look at which stones are used in pig iron and steel.

Other than that, just go to the smelter, make some pig iron, and make some steel. As long as you have all the raw materials, that's all there is to it. It'll give you an announcement of canceled job with any materials you're missing.
