(Gah, we never actually discussed his destiny. This is the part where we went to short answers).

Allond I promised you whatever destiny you desired and pursued. Telling you that you had the capability to achieve whatever you desired. Your venture here is surely proof of that is it not? Come now Allond, you know that I have neither forgotten nor forsaken you. I am simply curious as to what makes you so special. No common mortal could scale this tree and enter the heavens where my children live. You are no play thing, though you certainly are a curiosity indeed. The first mortal to venture to my temple from the world below. Surely such a feat will not go unrewarded... Yes, you have conquered this tree... It shall be yours...

Lu uses 10 acts to turn Allond into a powerful servant to Lu. Combining his soul with that of The Great Tree, Lu makes Allond the great protector, guardian, and leader of the tree and the Rhacidea. An archangel in the Faith of Lu, Allond is given power over life and the ability to communicate with and affect life (both plants and animals) telepathically. He is also given a new body to reflect his new power and connection to the Great Tree and all life. Lu imparts on him a great patience, wisdom, and benevolence fitting for a leader and guardian who will live forever.

The
ETERNAL SAGA
ooc here

ACT 2: The First Era

---

TURN 2.4: Necromancy

The frozen time resumed again. It seemed an eternity passed, and the Divine Ones could feel great changes had occured to the universe. The fabric of the world was instable, weakening.

Lung Happy Fun Time (Mavnon)

Using 5 Power, Mavnon summoned a great flood and shaped the land with its eldritch powers to expand the existing Lung Sea into a World Ocean.

[New Location: World Ocean]

...But a crackle of power tamper with the creation of the World Ocean! Suddenly, a complex system of tunnels bathed in a strange power appear under the Lung Sea, causing it to drain its content into the far Underground.

This tunnel system ripples with Mavnon's power, causing the two acts to intermingle. The tunnel system spreads farther than the intended location, which combined with the earth-shattering effect of Mavnon's action cause a cataclysmic collapse leading to the birth of a second Ocean, smaller than the first.

They are connected by the now flooded Underground.

[New Location: Second Ocean]

The Allond Famine

Divine power clashed as the Allond Famine was negated. The unaware mortals didn't know that a greater being saved them from the power of another divine being.

The Everlasting Bushes

A God created a large population of Everlasting Bushes and placed them inside Karos territory. They then blessed them with a Major Blessing, "Twist Fate".

Spoiler: Twist Fate (click to show/hide)

The Archangel Allond, Herald of Life
Lu, true to his word, summoned all his remaining divine power into 10 Acts to elevate the fanelian Allond. Bathed in limitless power, Allond was reborn as a Greater Servant.

Spoiler: Allond, Herald of Life (click to show/hide)

He then improved the Soul-Catching Lantern to a regional heroic artifact.

The Peaceful Law

Everyone could feel Nefertem the Long Deep tinkering with the Laws of the World. He used 1 Power to create a Lesser Law.

"Any member of the Peacekeeper tribe that raises a hand in aggression against another sentient being shall instantly die."

Chiron the Lord of Stone Towers

Akrathh used 3 Acts to shape a new Servant. He sent him to the Four Tribes Alliance so that he may teach them how to construct great fortifications and spread the word of "Hakarth".

Codex' First Amendment - The Law of Repitition

Niké used 1 Power to weave a Law into the World. The Law of Repitition.

He also used 1 Power to bless Kuli with the power to End and Create Seasons. He then sent forth the Servant to the tribe of Karos to usher a period of Growth.

He then went to the Robi to teach them about the use of weapons, and guided them toward one of the other races...

Arranging the Underground

Elitholi at the same time worked on helping the Drows settle with various actions. He took his time, not using any power, to create a small population of Giant Bats, a handful of crossbows and bolts as well as long spears, and, finally a small population of Giant Insects that he attempted to spread across the world.

But the sudden flood destroyed his plans. What did Elitholi do to protect his creations?

Reyginaga and the Tardagradi

Reyginaga, meanwhile, guided the Tardagradi personally. The Other One then rested in her realm.

Ha Sath the Mimic

Meanwhile, the monster Ha Sath took the form of a Garclin Bird, enjoying a mundane life of carnage.

March of the Teluvortas

Shal used 1 Power to create an army of Teluvortas. Creating a handful of Flails and Bows, she then instructed Steve to teach them how to wield these weapons.

Then she moved the irregular Imp to her realm, Point Zero to investigate him thoroughly.

Divine surprises

Divine tampering:
-Taught the Fanelian Herati aquaculture and basic agriculture.
-Taught the Lungs metallurgy.
-Caused some Fanelians children from the Four Tribe Alliance to be born with gills and webbed fingers and toes.

Nefertem the Long Deep took Jete the Rider to the Pillar. Once he was placed there, all his powers disappeared, causing him to rapidly age.

Scilorak, Great Destructor of Poisons, Metals and Legends

Scilorak's armies of Servants started moving. But before they could enter the Mortal Plane, their master stopped them.
"No way, you fools overused your powers. How did I not realize the strain of this universe?! Legions! We are leaving this instant! This newborn world is already dying."

The Great Destructor and his armies then promptly left through the hole used to enter.

The Primordial Change

Right as Scilorak left, all the Divine Beings of the Universe sensed an omniscient presence passing through the Universe.

"I am the Primordial Change. I come to you bearer of a Prophecy: the time of the Divine will soon come to an end. In 2 Cycles, the Divine and Other Planes will collapse, and any Divine being to remain here will lose all their powers."

And as the last word was uttered, the presence vanished from the Universe.

---

A great disturbance has caused the power of the Gods to greatly fluctuate. Acts are leaking from the Universe, leading the Gods to have a limitless supply of Acts...

WORLD TURN

The Andilauss

A blessing of extreme hapiness, inspiration and vigor struck the Andilauss. After a year of extase, they had turned into a depraved people who tried to find a way to relive this year of bliss.

Spoiler: Famous Andilauss (click to show/hide)

The Fanelians

Tribe of Herat

As per Jete's prophecy, a great flood occured. The Herati were sparred from the devastation, and soon came to give their thanks to the god behind Cenovet, Mavnon.

His disappearance caused a great deal of grief to the Herati. The legend of Jete would never be forgotten, and some said he sacrificed his life to save his people from the flood.

Culat and Hejah came to an agreement, and decided to lead the Herati together. The combination of their ideologies led to the Herati becoming a very sensible people.

Norga remained close to the pillar, sometime coming to the Herati to share his wisdom.

[The GM is unable to keep up with data]

Theocracy of Karos

Daios tragic fate struck great fear of the Divine in the Karos. Several supernatural events then occured. Dreams, blessings and Servants... all these actions from the heavy hands of the Gods caused the Karos to become a people fearing the gods. The priests overthrew Givarn, turning the Karos into a theocracy.

Completely changed, the strongest minded Karos left guided by Givarn, hoping to evade the gaze of the gods. They renamed themselves the Daikaros, in memory of the martyr Daios. They swore to hold to their ideals, even if the demon Nefertem were to burn them all.

Later on, Bob and the Teluvorta Army arrived to their lands. The terrified Karos let the Servants do their work.

[Daikaros Exiles]

Spoiler: Famous Karos (click to show/hide)

Exiles of Daikaros

The exiles left their lands, to the south. After a long and treacherous journey through the other Fanelian lands, great plains and a vast desert, they reached the Second Sea of Fire and Glass.

Despite the harsh conditions, they managed to start from scratch and develop a new civilization.

Bob and the Teluvorta Army arrived to their new lands. The grateful Daikaros didn't forget Shal's dream, and welcomed the Servants warmly.

[Second Sea of Fire and Glass (South-Western one)]

Tribe of Alomet

The Alomets continued developping in an unique way, as an adventurous people.

The Akrathhians

With Limikarrat guidance, the Akrathhians grew enough to form the Kingdom of Akrathhia. A period of peace and prosperity followed for Akrathhia.

Edera the Warlord and Darad the Fierce finally died, having passed their skills and knowledge to the new generation.
>The male Forening Useka retired from battle and started managing the arenas. He wished to focus on fighting as an entertainment.
>The female Fanelian Atora became the new Warlord of Akrathhia.

Julak is now called the Forgemaster, whose skills are unparalleled even by the most talented Forenings.

The Peaceful

A Law struck the Peaceful. The power of this Law struck great fear in the Peaceful, who now couldn't kill without dying themselves. There was a great rush of panic as many Peaceful Fanelians died from harming others, voluntarily or not.

Terror and death are freezing their progress, as many Peaceful die accidentally or from breaking down due to the immense stress. The Peaceful turned into a dictatorship, as no one dare contest and especially not hurt the new ruler: Josehl the Lord of Peace.

The few remaining Peacefuls are in fact, completely averse to violence now. The Peaceful Kingdom is born, and its inhabitants are true pacifists. Only the most emotionless Fanelians survived, leading to a bland and slow kingdom.

[The Peaceful Kingdom]

Spoiler: Famous Peaceful (click to show/hide)

Four Tribes Alliance

The Four Tribes were horrified by the Curse that afflicted the Peaceful. Not knowing why such a terrible curse fell upon them, they stopped trying to interact with them, and the Peaceful was deemed a cursed people.

With Chiron's help, they erected a great wall to separate their land from those of the Peaceful. It also had the positive effect of increasing the unity of the Tribes, leading them to form the One Kingdom of Fan.

Tribe of Forut

The Tribe of Forut kept progressing at an incredible rate, becoming the most technologically advanced people -most known for their genius shipwrights-. They now sail the Sea of Fire and Glass with ease, and exploit its many resources.

They renamed themselves the Republic of Forut, led by the Obsidian Senate.

A crazy Forut named Sambad even managed to tame a massive Margorax, leading to the birth of the Mobile Forut Shipyard. This shipyard is built on this Margorax, who is called Tuni.

Tribe of Allond

Having received a mystic dream, the Allond welcomed Bob and the Servants. They kept developping, but nothing of note happened to them.

The Keepers of the Pillar

With the knowledge of minerals in the nearby hills, the Keepers developped their metallurgy. Excavating the mines for their precious minerals, they created great constructions.

New famous Keeper: Thomaas the Architect

Lungs

With the World Sea, the Lung could conquer new territories and spread at an alarming rate. Several Lungs country are appearing, with the biggest being the Coral Kingdom. Somehow, Majia managed to become 1st King of the powerful Coral Kingdom.

Discovering the Rifja, the Coral Kingdom promptly enslaved these creative "lesser" beings.

With unique metallurgy techniques, their civilization is rising. Tian Shu is still the greatest known Craftslung, and Baicha has left to the new sea, hoping to become the greatest there.

New famous Lungs:
Lung Lukong, a legendary lung adventurer who made a great journey...

[Lungs enslaved Rifja]

Spoiler: Famous Lungs (click to show/hide)

The Spruces

The Spruces kept developping at a good pace. They planted the Ebontree Seeds, but didn't manage to make them grow.

Hearing of the events happening around the world, especially the Karos and Peaceful tragedies, the Spruces focused on philosophy, and abstract thinking. While not the most technologically advanced people, they are now a people mainly known for its great philosophers.

The three greatest Spruces/Forenings are called the Three Sages. Among them
are Maktot, Techimet and Arin.

[Philosophers]

Spoiler: Famous Spruces (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Famous Forenings (click to show/hide)

The Rhacidae

The strange being disappeared, replaced by the one known as Allond the Spirit of the Great Tree. With his great powers and gift of wisdom, he united the primitive Rhacidae and renamed them the Allondites.

The Allondite Empire started growing at a rapid pace.

[Rhacidae species now call themselves the Allondites]
[The birth of a new civilization]

The Rifja

Enslaved by the Lungs, the Rifja tirelessly create and imagine tools for their new overlords.

I the Rifja has fled the Lungs after judging he wasn't strong enough to face them. Now into hiding, he is slowly building up power by hunting non enslaved Rifja.

[Rifja are slaves to Lungs]

Spoiler: Famous Rifja (click to show/hide)

The Robi

Thanks to their innate knowledge of seasons, the Robi manage to take advantage of the new cycle of seasons. They grow and develop as a people, and a great exodus start as Niké imparted them the knowledge of other people.

They unfortunately failed to reach the Fanelian lands, but the various Robi tribes are formidable nomads.

The Tardagradi

With the ever present guidance of Ysalith, the Tardagradi kept developing at a steady pace. With the next temple-library, the gathered knowledge is accessible to many.

Despite Ysalith's influence, the Tardagradi don't make any major breakthrough, leading to an unimpressive growth.

The Drow

A great catastrophe threatened to wipe the Drows if no one acted.

Servants

The influence of the Irregular Imp had left its mark. Several more Imps developed an ego, walking on the steps of the Irregular. A new class of Imps developped as a result, calling themselves Coordinators. They have started construction of a massive structure dedicated to Akrathh in a land far from civilization, located north to the Pillar.

During his tireless work, Nolei sensed a great disturbance in the Divine Plane.

Kuli, with his new powers over seasons, went to the Karos to grant them Growth. He was surprised to meet very devout mortals, and was pleased. His work then done, he left to spread the seasons across the world.

Bob and Teluvorta army succeeded in spreading the Bushes unopposed. The many disasters that befell on mortals really helped instill fear of the divine and their envoys into them.

Fauna and Flora

Umlor the Savage Maw:
The birth of the World Ocean has awakened Umlor, who hungered. Now gigantic, he is the strongest native being of this world's seas. The territory of Umlor is known as the Savage Ocean, where all belong to Umlor.

Curiously, Umlor chose the area where a meteor landed as his territory, in a way preventing the mysterious creatures from these depths to pour into the rest of the ocean...

In the Depths:
In the Depths of what was once the Lung Sea, more and more abnormal creatures appear. But Umlor keep them in check, and seems to grow in strength with every kill.

Giant Insects:
The Giant Insects spread across the world didn't have much success. Few in numbers and facing unknown environments, they didn't manage to reproduce well, remaining a very rare occurence in the wilds.

Nefertem the Long Deep speaks: It seems our world is dying. It would be prudent to leave for greener pastures. You are welcome to accompany me.
Especially you, Niké. You may recall we discussed a particular act of creation previously, but never found the time; it would be a shame to let the opportunity go to waste.

Nefertem then sets about making a big boat the size of a planet to take all his stuff. Especially Umlor. He plans to make Umlor an Ascended One some day.

Perhaps, Nefertem. Yet... even as the universe comes to its' end, I feel... a sense of obligation to it. The Mortal plane will be safe from this great calamity, yes?

Niké teleports Nolei and Kuli to the great boat from the Divine Plane, letting the numerous souls trapped in the various afterlives free to roam the Mortal Plane.

With a great burst of energy, Niké creates one of the final artifacts of the world: the Blue Requiem, in the birthplace of the Robi, south of the Rhacidae jungles.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

And to the Robi, he reveals himself as the Greater Being they worshipped, and reveals to them that the Gods must depart, in a mere two Cycles. He says that they will safe, but they must stay here, and live their mortal lives to the fullest.

Two cycles, then, to do as we please? Very well. Time to get to work.

I bind my City to the world, no longer acting as my Realm - for I no longer have need of one - but acting as a land where all who enter will find that any attempts to better themselves will fare noticeably better than any without. Furthermore, being in the city will thoroughly dampen any thoughts of conducting any serious violence on others while you’re there.
Then, I create the Advisor. It is a local heroic-class artifact, rooted in my City. In shape, it is like a temple, but within it, if you ask one of gods that were here a question, it will answer you in the way they would have.
Finally for the City, I bless it with... the best way to put it would be blessing it with science. Specifically, scientific innovation. It is simply easier to come up with and implement technological or magical (or magitechnical) solutions to problems.

[Going through notes of what he wanted to do] Ah, yes, I remember this.
Spoiler: Magic (click to show/hide)
There we go. Quite nice, I think.
Nike, Shal, Cerediron, I finally got that magic system working! I added a few modifications to make sure it would keep working after we leave, too!

Also, give the language to the Spruce.

[To the Spruce] The time of the gods is coming to an end. Soon, myself and the others will be forced to leave this world.
However, I will not leave you without guidance. Look upon the Advisor. Within its walls, you need only ask my advice on your problems to hear my voice. The gods will be gone, but our echo will remain in the Advisor.
And finally, a gift. Remember how, previously, I have told you of things beyond your ability, that required magic to use? Now, I bequeath upon you all the language of magic. With this, I know you will be able to work wonders.
Now, I wish you all luck. I have many more places to improve before myself and my compatriots are recalled to elsewhere.

Erin proceeds to go wandering the world, spreading more Stone Pillars as he does.

Once the Lifeboat is complete, Nefertem is faced with a conflict: he is unwilling to abandon the deeply dependent peoples he has wrought, but also knows that their well-being and proper development requires them to stay in their world and face eternity rather than flee into the void. So he decides to split the difference with all this available power.

First, he reshapes the Heartwriter into a great statue of a serpent, clearing out the land where it was hidden and raising a giant temple of glass around it. Its old powers fade away and are replaced with a new blessing: Those who come to the statue and pray for beauty will have their lives made more beautiful in some way, at the artefact's own discretion. He renames this new creation the Memory of Nefertem, and fills the rest of the temple with artwork and books describing in detail the beauty of Nefertem and his creations.

Then, he gathers his peoples and tells them that he will be leaving them in body, but his spirit will remain with them always, just as their spirits will remain with him; and he takes a part of the soul of every descendant of all of his creations, those who were perfectly devout and those estranged from him alike, and fashions another artefact: a green orb filled with thousands of motes of light, each a fragment of soul, all of which remain spiritually connected to their corresponding beings no matter how far away the artefact may go. Even as the people of Nefertem reproduce and bring new souls into their fold, the fragments in the orb, which Nefertem names the Emerald Eye, multiply to match, so that all those who follow Nefertem will be with him for all the generations to come.

Next, he turns to his first creation, Auđrauga. With a wave of his many rays of light, Nefertem alters the great glass orb so that it no longer pierces and shackles its prisoners, but merely wraps tightly about them like a shroud, still sapping their power and holding them in place but allowing them to wake and communicate. To the great Titan held therein he says: "Something has gone wrong. Perhaps we are at fault somehow, though I do not know. In any case, we are leaving, and I offer you to come as well, for it was never my intention to imprison you unto death. As soon as we can ensure you will do us no further harm, you will be freed."
