What the...
« on: November 19, 2017, 06:09:30 pm »

I walked into a mead hall and my companions started attacking people right and left. I walked further in, and attacked an unarmored dancer in a isolated room, thinking her to be an easy kill. She promptly shattered my spine. I suffocated, but wanted revenge, so before finishing the game, I switched that save over to LNP, the only way I can get DFHack to work: I wanted to swap out of that corpse and hunt down the dancer. It turns out that if you reload a corpse save in the LNP version, you're immediately placed into a random nearby person, so that was one less step.

In my new (although regrettably peasant-skilled) adventurer, I searched for the dancer for a while. Coming to the main area of the mead hall, I saw ...this.

How in Armok's name does anyone manage to throw someone with enough force to launch the battered semi-conscious victim across THIRTEEN KRUTZING TILES?!

1. That's a possibility; I think there were some animal men near that civ.
2. No minecarts were near.
3. An NPC was the attacker, and so naturally he was not using dfhack.
