A taboo that got missed...

With as in-depth as the game goes, it's surprising this doesn't really come up... in spite of how awkward it would be IRL, no dwarf, elf, human, or any other intelligent creature reacts to someone running around in the nude. It wouldn't be hard to check for (is the target intelligent, and is it wearing clothing on its upper/lower body?), and it opens up some interesting potential world detail. For example:

-A friendly character may offer you an item of clothing if you happen to be going around without it. (Trigger on nudity, or just if you're underdressed for the climate, i.e. without a cloak in the middle of a storm or lacking mittens/gloves in a cold biome)
-A less scrupulous character may point and laugh and openly mock you.
-Random greetings may occasionally be appended with "please put some clothes on" or something of that ilk.
-In Fortress mode, Dwarves may react badly to someone walking around nude.
-Your character in adventure mode may gain a reputation for being, at least, "odd", if you do this often enough.
-In combat, enemies will flee more readily if they're going up against someone who is nude (and shouldn't be, so animals and the like are exempt; this would mirror many real-life cultures who used it as an intimidation tactic).
-If it's possible to toggle, some intelligent creatures might not have a nudity taboo. Alternatively, they have alternating standards as to what qualifies as indecent... Elves might be fine with just a bare-minimum tunic and loincloth, while Dwarves might get offended if your feet aren't covered, Goblins might not care at all, etc.

Taboos are culturial. Dorfs also dont care about privacy, or personal property, even though they have some concept of personal ownership.

Also, in the old age, some were painted during wars. How would you react when you suddenly see a white ghost coming at you?

It's a good idea, but should have connection to some personality facets.

Maybe dwarves with high [PRIVACY] facet feel more negative emotions being naked and those low in being
[TOLERANT] and high sensitivity to [IMMODESTY] react more negatively seeing others naked.

Dwarves already experience the embarrassment of being naked when you remove their clothes after assigning them into a squad (replace clothing, assign no armor/clothes), however cringing seeing other wild & natural beings be naked could be annoying or break the game given the existance of animal-men and other such intelligent races not fond of wearing clothes or living in civs.

Perhaps it should only relate to seeing creatures of another/own civilisation, though i dont think really this is a high priority change given the function to feel 'shame' or embarrasment over being naked is already implemented.

Maybe add castes as an influencing factor, too? (I.e. dwarfs will be less upset by members of the same sex doing this than by members of the opposite? Or the other way around, depending on personality... actually, that might open the possibility to dwarves that are canonically perverts, so maybe not.)

Well, yes, the function for a nude individual to feel shame is already there, but this would influence how other characters respond, which opens up a whole new range of interaction possibilities, up to and probably including tantrum spirals. "My whole fort just went up in smoke because Urist McPantsfree decided to go for a walk." Additionally, this would have some functionality in adventure mode, especially if you're starting out in an area where armor is scarce and you need to rely on some other method of passive self-defense. Obviously, this would still be inferior, since it'd only work on certain intelligent creatures, but it'd still be helpful.
