Yeah, I don't bother with labor assignments anymore, the new system is very much improved. However, DT is still useful for managing livestock e.g. butchering only those above a certain size, etc. Currently, I'm trying to pick the biggest, toughest, and strongest giant grizzlies to assign to my squads and going over them one by one is extremely tedious when I can just quickly sort them in DT. But ultimately, I still have to do the assignment in DF itself, and that requires marking the animals for easy searching. Atm, there are only two ways I can do this: setting nicknames or marking them for slaughter. As mentioned before, nicknames are obscure and non-searchable in DF. Marking for slaughter is easy to search but doesn't let me sort from best to worse, so I have to do it in small batches.

Dropped it into my DT folder and it seems to be working per normal.  My sort status was lost (migration wave), but custom professions remained.  The only error message was 'TLS Initialization failed', but that didn't affect anything (that I can tell).  And while I'm here, THANK YOU.  I do not micromanage my labors all that much, but the default labor system is still far too limited for my tastes.  At a glance, everything looks good in this version (most important being the carryover of custom professions).

Of course a patch less than a day later to update two sound files changes to 51.03, lol.  Edit: The new memory file seems to be working fine as well, just plug and play.
