everything vanilla usually follows the same format for common materials

I think what you need to do is set up new milk for a specific animal and give the milk the same tags as sunshine, or make a copy of sunshine and label it as milk.
but, I don't know much about the raws.

I think I tried that one already and it didnt work.  Need to wait until I get back home to test it again.

well you had SUNBERRY not BERRY_SUN which would explain why it failed, checking your errorlog often is good practice to modding

Yeah, Its just that I did do more testing after your suggestion that i didn't post specific details about in here yet. I will never the less double check and run tests after I get home.

Yes, ok, so it is working now. Hmm I must have goofed it up because I remember the last time I tried it was dog n/a or maybe not even letting me milk the dogs at all when I tried it, thanks for the help Hugo_The_Dwarf!

Edit2:
Of course now I have buckets with single servings of sunshine and my dwarfs aren't empting them into barrels.

And a somewhat related note about modding dogs to lay eggs, the eggs show up in the stocks menu but not the kitchen. Hmm.
