Hey, Im playing the newest version of DF, 44.02, and for the first time I have encountered a human In a town identifying as a criminal. Can anyone tell me if this is intended behaviour or if I should throw that over too the bug tracker?

Think it's already there. They're turning up in fortress mode too. There are supposed to be criminals about (Toady mentioned them in the devblog somewhere) so the "criminal" profession might just be a placeholder until the law update when criminals will realise they probably should be a little more discreet.

Everyone could be a spy. But not everyone is. Including 'criminals'. You only have to open Legends to see if someone's operating under a false name.
